28/11/2017 11:21 | Looks like it has bottomed out... Time to buy in. | gregpeck7
28/11/2017 11:18 | Down to -10C in Scotland and -8C in East Anglia later this week - with wind and accumulating snow on exposed Eastern hills. That's pipe-bursting weather if correct, as the wind creates a deeply penetrating frost. Lights should stay on, though, if there is wind. | aleman

28/11/2017 09:15 | ham yes i sold some of my Shell stock to buy this and Shell are up over 3% on good news this morning. but expecting this one to do better over the next 2 years. Conn said he has been talking to the government, and they are starting to agree with some of his ideas. here is hoping....... WJ. | w1ndjammer
28/11/2017 09:15 | "A customer is a customer is a customer" - Oooh zero matches on google for that phrase in its entirety. Probably because it doesn't make sense :) | hamhamham1
28/11/2017 09:04 | WJ. Maybe its like when I couldn't sell my car at auction at the weekend. I said to the auction house that I was glad it didn't sell at a low (or current market) price. But inside I wish I had sold it - but wouldn't tell them that. Back the cna, the looming gov cap kinda rules out that idea of only keeping high profit customers doesn't it? Sorry all for my slightly down tones today :) They are just questions. | hamhamham1
28/11/2017 08:57 | ham i was thinking the same thing, but CNA are saying you will never sell extras to those people, and the you get some none payers and its not worth the trouble. WJ. | w1ndjammer
28/11/2017 08:57 | Crikey, just looked at IMM, I didn't realise that share prices can go up as well as down :) | hamhamham1
28/11/2017 08:53 | OOOooops whats up with this platform double posts.............. | w1ndjammer
28/11/2017 08:53 | Anyway in the mean time IMM is flying and i have the same money in both so happy days. WJ. | w1ndjammer
28/11/2017 08:50 | Why? It's got no reason to rise pro tem. | andycapp1
28/11/2017 08:50 | WJ - you kinda answered my question re. numbers. But I think its a good idea to keep a million extra customers - even if you only make £1 or £10 profit a year out of them for supplying just the gas/elec. Its far easier to upsell services into existing customers than it is to sell services to a rivals customers? | hamhamham1
28/11/2017 08:50 | To be fair most of the ones lost were very low to no profit and not worth fighting for but agree if large numbers start falling then yes trouble. WJ. | w1ndjammer
28/11/2017 08:47 | And any of the Directors bought shares out of their own money since the fall?... Maybe another smaller fall to low 130's to lock in those who bought in on that water fall and then a rise to 150p... | diku
28/11/2017 08:46 | porty..what going on here?... | diku
28/11/2017 08:45 | Reading the transcript. It does kinda irk me that Conn says that their main focus will be on customer services. So even if you are selling other assets and non-core businesses at this time during the transformation, I really don't think you should be losing large numbers of customers. (both residential and business). If this is your future focus, then you have to at least show stability in these numbers during this key time? What does anyone else think? | hamhamham1
28/11/2017 08:37 | yes more cost saving on the way, he also said these low margin suppliers that are undercutting the market are plastering over the cracks can`t be sustained and CNA have no intention of going down that rout. in the USA most suppliers are having same problems as CNA expecting to smooth out over time. WJ. | w1ndjammer
28/11/2017 08:31 | Oh forgot to write cost savings - which is the way it will have to be done entirely I think. | hamhamham1
28/11/2017 08:29 | They say only looking at small purchases upto 100 mill and only if company enhansing not looking a big stuff for now. Said maintaining divi is important. WJ. | w1ndjammer
28/11/2017 08:25 | The only thing about handing all you profit out in dividends is how do you finance any restructuting or purchases? This would either have to be using existing cash in bank, borrowing more cash, selling assets or in the case of purchases offering all share deals (this would be hard with current share price history). None of the I overly like. Con said the transformation is fully costed so would be interested to see how he plans to do it with these earnings levels. | hamhamham1
28/11/2017 08:18 | andycapp he said they can operate at 1.04 untill the turnaround is complete said should see green shoots 2/3 years but not putting exact time on it. WJ. | w1ndjammer

28/11/2017 08:14 | Someone's playing with this share... early morning rise followed by drop until US opens and rises again... daily routine for past few days | losses
28/11/2017 08:12 | I think it would have been better to say keep this year at 12p. Then next 2 years at 8p. Then after that back to 12p and progressive resumes from then. This would keep short term interest in shares till next year and give the market an actual figure for next 2 years. Stop speculation and questions. Anyway WTFDIK. | hamhamham1 |
