02/9/2016 22:31 | important Security Notice Regarding Fraudulent Invoices We have recently become aware of a postal fraud campaign targeting domain name registrants, and registrars. We have received copies of several fake invoices sent by post to domain registrants, which claim to be issued by CentralNic, but which direct the recipient to remit payment to bank accounts that are not ours. These invoices are different from the well-known "Renewal Notice" scams, in that they are not an attempt to obtain transfer authorisation, but are simple fraud by impersonation. A sample of the fake invoices can be found here. If you have received an invoice like this, please send us a copy so we can pass it on the police, who are investigating the case. Any invoice issued by CentralNic can be viewed on the Registrar Console at hxxps://registrar-co If you have any questions or information about this issue, please get in touch. hxxps://www.centraln | rubberbullets

23/8/2016 10:56 | Has anyone emailed the CEO or CFO to suggest that they include something in the interims about business/revenue model? I'm happy to do so if someone has their email address | adamb1978
23/8/2016 08:27 | CentralNic plc (AIM:CNIC), the internet platform business which derives revenues from the global sale of domain names, today announces that it will publish its interim results for the six months ended 30 June 2016 on Wednesday 7 September 2016. | aishah
22/8/2016 14:58 | Modform, I don't believe you would be given a site and hosting for free, other than for a short introductory period. Buffy | buffythebuffoon
22/8/2016 14:27 | It's a hard one to explain Modform given the wholesale to retail and the domain name to retail and now the new e commerce domains .store being the first but this from a post by GHF back in the thread explains it a bit...."CNIC predominantly derives its revenue from a share of the sale of domains, as a percentage of revenue or as a fixed fee per domain. Fees are paid upfront and often for multi-year periods, to be renewed thereafter. The company retains all of the wholesale revenue from the sale of domains using its own portfolio of SLD suffixes, and a share of wholesale revenues when providing services to client registry operators. Revenue from its registrar business is derived from the retail margin on domain sales (registrars set the price at which they sell domains). The revenue model also has strong cash-generative characteristics as fees are paid in advance and inventory does not exist until a domain name is registered. A number of CNIC's registrars maintain a credit balance with CNIC, which is automatically topped up." | battlebus2
22/8/2016 12:36 | Can someone enlighten me how CNIC makes money, when I am continuously being offered .xyz web sites for free. I can see how MMX makes money by auctioning .vip web sites. I have no position atm, and from TA it's an awful looking chart. | modform
17/8/2016 15:45 | Should go sub 30p with no news - see chart | betelgeuse1
17/8/2016 14:03 | The risk to the share price is simply boredom and lack of liquidity causes people to exit. Hopefully the results in a month or so will show continued growth and add credability to the forecasts for the year - assuming so, the share price is cheap at current levels | adamb1978
17/8/2016 11:57 | I think part of the problem here now is that a lot of money came in on the heavily discounted placing. That money will be looking to exit at a profit. I suspect any rise is going to be sold into and that will hold back any attempt at real momentum for the foreseeable future. I could be completely wrong of course. Descending triangles are more prone to break to the downside than the upside and that does seem to be playing out at present. No wish to talk this down - simply observations. Results, presumably, will provide clarity on how strong or otherwise the story really is. | saucepan
17/8/2016 10:10 | Apols BB2 :-(( | pj 1
17/8/2016 10:08 | Cheers PJ, thanks for knocking the price :)) | battlebus2
17/8/2016 10:00 | Ive taken a breather with the price action and exited. Main reason is to defend my Capital in the middle of, for me, an awful year. I expect to be back in a more positive chart. Good luck in the meantime | pj 1
16/8/2016 10:20 | What makes you say that, it's simply a seller imv. Company is trading well and highly cash generative. | battlebus2
16/8/2016 09:48 | looks a right load of rubbish this one | betelgeuse1
16/8/2016 09:31 | Yes looks like our seller is offloading more, staying on board. | battlebus2
16/8/2016 09:15 | Forced out again: was playing this with a tight stop. Judging by the continued selling, which I hoped had dried up, and the latest price action, I also now fear the triangle looks more likely to break to the downside. | saucepan
12/8/2016 19:58 | Yes Adam, it looks that way. I nearly fell off my chair when I logged on to IG to see a different price. I was expecting an unchanged price, as our seller still has some way to go. Maybe he'll offload some more now. One day this will rocket and everyone will say how obvious it was. Buffy | buffythebuffoon
12/8/2016 19:23 | My good god. It moves | adamb1978
12/8/2016 16:35 | Cheers, bb2. Just over four weeks to Interims; hopefully, interest will now grow into them. | saucepan
12/8/2016 16:27 | Good to see you back saucepan, I've also added a few today :)) | battlebus2 |
