13/7/2012 13:01 | ChrisG - yesterday's update gives a year end £7.2m net debt. | aleman
13/7/2012 12:50 | leedsu36 - think you're on the wrong thread! Nothing in your post makes any sense in the context of Centaur. They are NOT "still nearly £8m in debt". Until recently they didn't even have any debt. How can you "still" be in debt when previously you didn't have any?! You say their aim two years ago suggested debt would be gone around this time, but two years ago, they were net cash positive! So your statement is utter nonsense. Even one year ago they were net cash positive. Have a look at the RNSs. Its all there! For the present, the latest results show net debt of £5.4m, which is a significantly different from "nearly £8m", and that £5.4m was mainly caused by acquisition costs of £4.3m plus software costs of £800k. How you can say that net debt needs to be no more than £1m for a company this size staggers the imagination! The latest annual EBITDA is in excess of £10m. The only possible conclusion is that you are on the wrong thread! Anyway, I'm not here to engage in a dialogue. If you maintain that you meant to post on this thread, other readers will be free to make up their own minds about your comments! Over and out! | chrisg
13/7/2012 12:48 | There would be no debt if they hadn't spent £8m on the Profile acquisition. What is disgraceful about that? Given operating cashflow should be over £10m per year before the eConsultancy acquisition (which could see next year's operating cashflow at £12m and rising), I don't see that £7.2m of debt is even remotely anything to be worried about. Even £19m when you add in the cost of the latest acquisition should see interest about 10 times covered by operating cashflow. That's very comfortable. | aleman
13/7/2012 11:47 | This is an absolute disgrace, still nearly 8m in debt, when are they going to try and reduce this, their aim two years ago suggested debt would be gone around this time,it should be max 1m,where is all the money going?...who are lining their own pockets effectively stripping the business of it's worth, time to move out of this dog. | leedsu36
