Yeah, I see BF & CDI as just expenditure at the moment, they will add to the bottom line eventually of course but that could be a while away. And yes, there will no doubt be some sort of tax - I've always seen the profit share as being a replacement for corporation tax. Quite good for getting an exploration & exploitation company up & running to profitability what with capex etc being claimed back with more profits to be paid once the operation is established.

Plat .. 136 was where I sold you idiot before the drop and been buying back in consistently sub 90p with a top up this morning at 82.68p . So I’m comfortable where I am . Now please ... fek off somewhere else so the board can represent those that are in . Better off on the penny share boards you frequent looking for the big gamble on bankrupt companies .

Boris you seem to post an aweful lot here for someone who isn't bothered. "Sorting the men from the boys..."

Run along Boris the men are starting to tun up and the school bell juts rang for you, time to go and get your nose in a Trickalo and get some education under your belt.

Storm in a teacup my fine feathered friend. It's action like this that separates the men from boys. Many think sod this it's over and give their money away. Courage of ones conviction is required. I've topped up more as I'm buying better and better value. Happy days

Kenny you keep making assumptions that are laughable and miles off but atleast your consistent with thinking 136 here was good value. You're not particularly skilled at disseminating the written word, are you?

FYI:

1) zangdook is correct about the ex-div dates
2) on the other thread it is noted that the profit share needs to be considered as it does not appear to be part of AISC
3) "Nice post, what price will you be able to get in at if production is on track"
I expect I will get in at todays closing price + the cost of the removed risk of missing guidance :-)
Which is what it's all about right - managed risk against reward?!

The profit share is just for the Egyptian operation but since that's all that is generating money...

Don't know the detail for the other countries but no doubt the state will get their arm in one way or another. When you take into account various taxes etc (which CEY doesn't need to pay in Egypt) then it can be much of a muchness.....

Although I was in fact aware of the profit share but completely forgot about it...really not got considering the impact! The benefits of getting old eh, quite concerning :-(

Re: Dates. I got confused by the last trading day being Thursday not Friday, so I thought the 18th was Friday.

Either way, I won't be buying without seeing the Q1 results anyway.

Jfishy -- info on profit share agreement:

From 1st July 2020 onwards the profit share will be 50/50.

See footnote (3) on page 70 of the 2018 AR:

(3) Profit share commenced during the third quarter of 2016. The first two years was a 60:40 split of net production surplus to PGM and EMRA respectively. From 1 July 2018 this changed to a 55:45 split for the next two‑year period until 30 June 2020, after which all net production surpluses willbe split 50:50

Thanks Casual,

From what I can see in the annual report:
1) royalties are included in AISC (p.78 AR)
2) Can't find any info on the profit share, so I think you may be correct on this one (and this is the biggest one so that needs to be factored in)
3) Agreed, $21m non-Egypt exploration costs need to be added in
4) I didn't consider the solar project as it is just being looked at & not given yet so it's hard to say what effect it will have and over what time period to become cost positive but it should certainly be considered.

Thanks :-)

The only people who make money in metal shares are the Crims who control the metal price.
