Back to last years low. A rise from here could signal a double bottom

The Production Update for last year's Q1 was on 25 May which was a Friday. IF it follows the same pattern that would suggest this year's will be on Friday 24 May.

You don't stop issuing prelims whilst the news is good, when you have ongoing capex.

If that's true Groomy then that is not a good sign.

I don't trade on technicals but I believe they can be used but very carefully. You have to work with certain ranges either side of fundamentals - is this ain't gunna drop to £500M, unless the market gets wind the Egypt is permanently screwed and the costs can't be controlled or output increased. No reason to think that.

Boris: Thank you,for your comments, comparing my charts readings to tea leaves reading.

I stand in awe of your immense knowledge and perhaps professional training re: the share market and I can not argue with any of your logic.

However, charts often do have obvious and predictable movements so I tend to ignore most other factors ,and work on the basis of: what goes up,comes down.

Rio Tinto is a good example of this

MCAPs make no sense as too much trading not representing real trade. It's all hedge funds / derivatives. This creates volatility and extreme variations of MCAP to intrinsic value. That's the opportunity. This shouldn't be sold at under 100p. It could go to 75p but it will bounce back to a realistic value at 150p and then go silly in the over valued direction. 150-250p within 2-3 years. I'll be here. Plats ball may have dropped by then.

Good spot . Very similar and could end up the same. I sold 1/3 my holding at 92p . I will sell another 1/3 on an 86p close and then hold the rest in case I am wrong . If it breaks down it could go below 70p and I would look to buy again on comforting news.

So you believe a chart is going to be repeated regardless of the fact that'll make the MCAP £500k. That values the operational mines and exploration licenses at £200k. They can make that in two good years. Go back to school ...... pls. That chart is about as believable as the tea leaves.

JuJu and Plat and Boris.

So far, this still seems to be repeating the chart/fall of around May 2018,so a continuation of this fall seems very likely.

I am watching this with interest.
