06/4/2019 19:58 | Ken 🎾 .. ahhhh I understand ... the trading profits have dragged overall cost as you have typically reinvested . I took the cash , invested elsewhere then came back in so I count that profit separate . CEY used to provide some nice peaks and troughs but it’s not budging from 89 to 90 until news by the looks of it. Let’s hope it’s good . Trader365 ... you have your way of trading we have ours. Our way involves a gamble admittedly but it is an educated one based on knowledge and fundamentals which to be honest I am more comfortable with as opposed to your north south method where you can miss the rises and my way enables some day trading for a bit of fun and gain which you are saying you avoid . It’s worked well for me .. I have averaged down many times since starting to trade last year and taken 4 small losses against 18 gains so to be honest I am not going to take a blind bit of notice of your comments but good look to you . Having said that I rarely invest unless fundamentals are solid whereas quite a fe on here seem to be gambling on the big kill / gain and might as well stick it on a horse . | kennyp52
06/4/2019 18:15 | I very very much doubt that. An 80 year old on ADVFN Hahahaha that has made my day lol if you’re 80 you wouldn’t be putting £20k into one plc company. You’d be buying for income alone. Dear oh dear. How obvious. Plus if you don’t need the money then what are you whining about? | dt1010
06/4/2019 16:42 | Good job DT1010 the problem is I am 80 years old, don't need the money though so will stick it out, | alangrifbang
06/4/2019 15:13 | Alan ditto doesn’t matter. ISAS are about years to come not chopping and changing, don’t worry. Even if this goes lower it will Recover. If you don’t believe that, sell. But there’s a high chance given time you will regret that. IMO. | dt1010
06/4/2019 13:28 | Which side the bed you out of | borisjohnsonshair
06/4/2019 13:21 | Invest via GIA's first and periodically transfer losses into the ISA account throughout the year. That way you get to use your allowance and offset any CGT liabilities. There are no profits in your GIA until the position is crystallized and thus no tax liabilities. Unless of course you know the share price is going to nigh on double the very next day then of course then it's ISA first. | plat hunter
06/4/2019 13:16 | My story is quite different I put £20000 into an ISA the day before the results at £1 36p the next day it tanked ,looks like I will suffer for years to come, | alangrifbang
06/4/2019 12:40 | No offence meant Plat but it takes two to tango that’s all. Enough. | dt1010
06/4/2019 12:00 | Well I'm still in by mistake - forgot about the Monday announcement. Talk about support levels, cash, debt, PER .............. all pointless. "The first quarter ("Q1") is scheduled to be 105-115koz accounting for increased movement of waste material from Stage 4 and 5." If they don't hit that target, set two months into the quarter and presumably having learned their lesson about over-promising, this is toast. | podgyted
06/4/2019 08:13 | I think you'll find my posts here as simply observations of the company and opinions on peoples inappropriate behaviours DT.If someone is so much underwater that they can't take hearing the truth or have such an sad lifestyle that they attack people with genuine insights then there isn't too much i can do about it. So i'll be grateful if you don't tar me with the same brush thank you. | plat hunter
06/4/2019 06:51 | That post has hit rock bottom | borisjohnsonshair
06/4/2019 05:58 | KENNYP that was meant to say CONVATEC not bloody combated siding predictive txt | ken tennis
06/4/2019 05:55 | KENNYP what I meant was since I started buying in if you take all the trades buys and sells I have done then deduct one from the other it leaves me with an average price paid per share 79.89 I know the price hasn’t gone that low but the profits I have accumulated by trading it on and off have reduced my average buy price to this level. Exactly what you done when you averaged down from your first buy in price. By the way are you still holding CAML she’s on a roll at moment I added a few more to my holding when it went to 239 last week she’s back up to 266 now the divi is approaching nice little 10p coming up I’m still waiting for combated to drop back but it’s holding quite well at mo. Keep an eye on WPP it’s been bouncing off 800 since October last year popping up to 900 then falling back it’s stamp free so 10% on each rise is achievable and I think it’s bottomed out now. ATB Ken Ps I’m still waiting for glen to drop | ken tennis
05/4/2019 21:16 | I would not ask anyone to rim me never mind you. So clear off | volsung
05/4/2019 21:11 | You are really disagreeable aren't you? | borisjohnsonshair
05/4/2019 20:47 | You're quite immature, aren't you Boris | plat hunter
05/4/2019 20:42 | Wait for the base and start buying on first breakout. The longer the base the higher in space it will travel. The safest place to pick up a dropped knife, is from the floor. | plat hunter
05/4/2019 19:38 | Lol. Boris, you're so thick you just prove peoples points for them. Better put me on filter as this is a dead duck and and well burn you more than it already has. why don't you sell CEY and buy yourself a decent gold miner. | plat hunter |
