21/3/2019 05:05 | DXY drop should see metals rise nicely, so looks like a reasonable day ahead. at the moment gold & silver up nicely. | ken tennis
20/3/2019 19:54 | When you value a share , especially one with $300m in the tommy tank , no debt and extensive gold resources ; then drops can very often mean opportunities so I disagree trader365 and will stick to my assessment of this share . Worst case scenario for me is a bid and this IMO would have to be well in excess of 150p a share to stand a chance. POG just spiked up to $1316 post close so we might just get a reaction tomorrow 👍 | kennyp52
20/3/2019 18:44 | Keeping fingers crossed trader365- I closed out a leverage20 on gold, set my limits on gains, as a while ago, I got bitten- work on ranges on profit and loss. | stevedaytrader
20/3/2019 18:37 | My US PM positions all turned positive on the FED announcement, so I would expect a follow through in UK tomorrow. Good news for gamblers! | trader365
20/3/2019 18:19 | Yes trader365- as per my post a couple of days ago, I bought in as thought this would be case, all I now need is this rise to stay overnight or go higher(sometimes the ensuing commentary can cause the gain to drop a bit- but fingers crossed this wil lNOT be the case), and we should get an increase in share price tomorrow - "FED meet tomorrow and info out on Weds- expect continued dovish tones and gold increase which has already started - any contrary causes opposite but not expecting this. Could rise a bit on this and worth the gamble now imho. What i said directly after the drop 3 weeks remains." | stevedaytrader
20/3/2019 18:06 | Fed decides rates on hold, growth has slowed, just gave gold a boost | trader365
20/3/2019 17:45 | Cinq Robbie Burns used to have a BB on ADVFN which was a good source of information. I no longer subscribe to ADVFN because I trade mostly US so not sure how active his BB is these days | trader365
20/3/2019 16:29 | The was a £63,000 sell too today at 90p at 9.09am I fear now that 88p won’t hold. Which will make for an eager value hunting ground. | dt1010
20/3/2019 16:24 | Trader 365: Yes,the trading mistakes I made were numerous but I believe that I have learned from them to a certain extent. We will see. I was unwilling or unable to understand or follow the advice of the "Naked Trader Book." | cinquepercento
20/3/2019 15:43 | Trader there was no movement. Perhaps it was funds buying from funds. Or brokers to brokers. If it was a fresh acquisition we’ll soon see an RNS. | dt1010
20/3/2019 15:00 | At 9.30 this morning someone or something bought 8086000 shares at 90.74p for a consideration of £7,328,162.40 (in CEY obviously) Then at 9.36am today exactly the same Trade at the same price. According for HL trades by volume. That’s over £14m been invested into the company today over two trades. Can someone explain this? | dt1010
20/3/2019 12:03 | If it is a double bottom I would expect the recovery to be sharp | juju44
20/3/2019 11:45 | Trader 365: I do agree with you,re: needing to have a plan and sticking with it to see how it ends up. I also agree with you re:needing to sell the losers and cut losses but the problem is that several good shares seemed like losers and I sold them at big losses only to see them bounce back up to new heights a few months later. This was a few years ago in my early attempts and I was risking more than I could afford to lose. I now try to decide in advance what I will do with a share if it drops ,or at what point I will sell it if it goes up, and stick to the plan. On the other hand,I recently dumped Petrofac, as stated previously, and then bought it back down to 377 and miraculously came out with a break even for this financial year. Your comments about trading strategies seem almost word for word similar to the advice in a book called:The Naked Trader which came out a few years ago. Re:Centamin,I am completely out and I have decided right or wrong, that there is a good chance of it dropping below 80 pence so I will stick with this plan and not worry about missing out. | cinquepercento

20/3/2019 09:22 | Someone must be off loading maybe? Or is it shorters just selling it down and down? So frustrating. In the absence of a big spike in gold or good production/explorati | dt1010
20/3/2019 09:20 | Hang in George ... lot of gold miners are actually up and IMHO I think only a snippet of good news will drive this share . Let’s face it .. it probably cannot get any worse so hopefully 90p is where the market will hold it . So much value in the balance sheet, plenty of cash, increased resources , other sites coming on board ... all the fundamentals are in place apart from a great production management team which they reckon they have put new guys in so I am very hopeful. | kennyp52 |
