03/6/2016 07:29 | Cenkos have been replaced by Numis as Nomad/broker at Benchmark Holdings (BMK). Cenkos were broker on BMK's £185m placing in Dec 2015... Change of Nominated Adviser and Broker - | speedsgh
26/5/2016 12:21 | CWA1 - Thanks for the Edison note. An interesting read. Exhibit 8: 'Illustrative full year scenarios' for the current FY is interesting. Based on their downside figs, Edison project no interim dividend payment with a final dividend of just 5.0p. That is of course the ultra cautious view. If Cenkos manage to outperform current expectations as per their upside figs, Edison project a 20.0p full yr div. Mid-case is for 13.0p full yr div. Now over to Cenkos to see what rabbits they can pull out of the hat over the next 7 months. | speedsgh
25/5/2016 21:06 | I am personally taking a far more cautious line for the current yr + am expecting a div somewhat less than the 14p paid in FY2015. H1 seems like it's been quiet for them to say the least. On current form I suspect that they will struggle to match the 14.2p EPS made in FY2013, let alone FY2014 EPS 35.2p, FY2015 EPS 27.2p. Maybe things will improve once the uncertainty of the referendum is behind them but I prefer to manage my expectations. I look forward to being proven wrong! PS I noted in an interview I watched yesterday with the CEO of an AIM-listed PR company that they had 11 IPOs on their books going in to the start of this year and every single one of them has been shelved due to Brexit. Read into that what you may. Some brokers (e.g. Numis) still seem to be doing pretty well but the general theme seems to be one of struggle. | speedsgh
25/5/2016 13:54 | IMHO, satisfactory means not disappointing. Enough to maintain the same dividend as last year but nothing more. | jbat
25/5/2016 13:54 | Speed,Thanks for that. | garycook
25/5/2016 13:17 | Small £10.2m placing at Angle (AGL). Whilst there is no confirmation within the rns, one would assume that Cenkos acted on the placing in their current role as Nomad/broker... PLACING TO RAISE £10.2 MILLION - | speedsgh
18/5/2016 11:45 | And to whom ar they satisfactory? Cenkos management or shareholders? Compared to the last couple of yrs I have detected little in the way of fundraising activity by Cenkos so far in H1 so I am very much expecting the current FY to be a lean year unless they can pull one or two oversized rabbits out of the bag. | speedsgh
18/5/2016 10:52 | thats what I was wondering too ! | mister md

27/4/2016 14:57 | Small placing at HNR with Cenkos the broker. Exciting little company that could be a good earner for them. | gary1966
22/4/2016 10:38 | A comment in an article today on IC's website... "UK brokers are seeing a perfect storm of declining broking margins, a volatile equity issuance market and legislation threatening to reduce research and execution commissions." | speedsgh
