I'd be tempted to keep them but its nice turn I suppose. I also bought another 13k in the afternoon. The quantum of buying(ftse) will be around 10.6million fwiw.

The bounce was as a result of an index change from FTSE they moved from Greece to Uk in the world index, hence the sharp rally after the Greek close and heavy volume at the close. I picked up another 5k today just below 1700, may turn them at the open.

Nice of GS to downgrade CCH last week.Have dipped my toe back in at 1710 for 1k shares and will keep adding as it falls hopefully.

Edit. A frustrating turnaround...presumably the mm's filled their buy orders at 17.22 and now turned it around. Should be quite a few fun and games around cch going forward.

Hi Magli
11 September is the FTSE meeting the inclusion is effective on at the close on Friday 21.
I am long stock at 18.43 and using the board to set limits in small size downward as this stock fly's around, You need a broker who will enter orders on the board for you, none of this Micky Mouse Retail Service Provider stuff, fast way to loose your arms!
If you deal t+3 and keep the stock in the brokers Nominee company then you will be able to sell on the board, that is very important for the index price setting auction at the close on Friday 21.
It is what I do and I have been doing this for a while....

Hi Exbroker, 11th September for inclusion. Not a good day really as Markets will be down due to sentiment I expect. If you got any points on trading would be appreciated as trying to increase amount held.
thanks
Magli

The company passed Nationality at FTSE on the 13 August and is now eligible for inclusion in the FTSE 100 Index at the next review in September.
This is and will give support to the price, which look expensive on fundamentals, not an easy stock to trade and volatile so use limits and the order board direct.

Maybe he gave a great-grand child his CCH share certs and told them to hold on to them for when they're 80!

Nope, not a cheap.

Maybe it's just too painful for him! Or maybe he doesn't check that email addy. I also posted on the IOF thread that I was sending it, so if he didn't receive it I would have expected him to post a reply saying so.

So, looks like it's just you and me and Sparky left! But it is galling that there's money in the co.....if we could just get at it!

Any contact from scrutable? He is quite difficult to talk to and only posts regularly on the Iof thread.

Yea, I know how you feel, but the galling thing is, there is still money in the company,it's just that they can't distribute it to us.

What's your take on the accounts?

Like you, this has been the biggest disaster of my investing career. ...it was such a good story!

Thanks - I'll try and contact him.

Cheers!

EDIT: I've copied you in.

PS - if there's anyone else left reading this board who wants a copy of the CCH accounts (2011 & 2012) send an email to goofy.stuff@ntlworld.com I've managed to convert the jpegs which I had previously posted to a dropbox into pdfs.

I agree..I got quite excited when I looked at the share price above. I talked to Scrutable on the IOF thread where he posts regularly. He was keen to see the cch accounts and start some shareholder pressure on the company to at least keep us informed. I emailed him the last two sets of accounts which I saved after you sent me them but unfortunately he had computer problems and did not get them. I then got hacked and my email content stolen, yahoo closed it down so I lost all my data and contacts !! You will find Scrutable as I said on IOF main thread and if he still has the same email it is edkal@sky.com I know he would be pleased to see the cch accounts and to hear from you, as he had a very large holding in cch.

I forgot about the reassignment of the ticker and when I clicked on this thread and saw some movement in the chart.....

It's a bit like having gone through a bereavement and then thinking you saw your loved one coming in the door!

The really frustrating thing is that we are still running as a business. Admittedly, not so well this last year, but there is money there and the shares, were we re-listed would be worth something. It's just the damned banks that won't sign off on the deal that has apparently been agreed by all. If they did that then the way would be clear to salvage the rest of the co. and make a go of it.

Like so much in life, and in this investing game, we just have to wait and see.

I know I asked you before, but did you get any response from Scrutable about his take on the accounts?

:0( we are swinging in the wind! at least soggy gets accounts sent to him but I agree it is depressing for a company that was doing so well it seemed.

Me too, and as I use ADVFN's portfolio I can't change it unless I have a valid ticker to change it to. Guess I just delete it, but it seems so depressing to acutally do what in fact I have already done mentally...write it off.

Well, the accounts have plopped onto my door mat today. Anyone else get them? Looks like there's really no change from the last set. We're still trying to get "the bank" to agree the deal.

So, still got some money in the bank and still a going concern. Looks to me like Mr. Fosset has paid himself £100k for his services over the year. Oh, and earned £10k for the co. by lending to another finance co of which he's a director.

I'm not one of those who actually reads accounts, so maybe someone else can tell us if there is good or bad news in the figs.

I've scanned them into a pdf and put them on dropbox https://www.dropbox.com/s/hwi0409b4rsogxa/Oiax%20%28CCH%29%20accounts%202012.pdf

If you can't access them there email me: goofy.stuff@ntlworld.com

EDIT: It takes quite a bit for the pages to load on dropbox. Be patient. Or, just give up and email me....
