Mxcp have taken 25% which is their biggest stake ever. Total of 172 millon shares in issue with 130 million held by institutions so there will be very little to go around.

TheChancellor,

If you're still about, can you update the header please?

Morning leeds, good to see a familiar face on here. That zac_mo and his AGM is already wearing a bit thin.

Morning zac_mo,

GM eh? Ah yes, today isn't it? Next acquisition you say? Better be better than the first one zac. £35m for £1.3m of op-prof's and single-digit "earnings" growth isn't a good start.

Will it be just you, leeds and I here on the official Premium BB Broadcast Thread with READ/WRITE options zac? Will TheChancellor, IBANS and Chimers be back from their sabbaticals? I wonder what they achieved zac?

I'm looking at those numbers, the paltry £1.3m operating profit, the lacklustre single digit earnings' growth, it's not a £35m firm at all. Why has £35m been paid in cash for a business that on a very good day might be worth £25m?
I can only think that Selection saw you coming and knew you were a forced buyer due to AIM rules.
You have paid way too much for a low-growth company that isn't even making much money. What's worse it's taken a year to "achieve" this feat.
All investors make mistakes and I fear the backers of this have made an expensive one, whether with their own hard earned or other people's.

panamul,

I have looked at Selection and consider £35m a very generous value indeed. Many would argue with good reason that closer to £25m would have been a fairer cash price to have paid.

The pro-forma net cash is around £14m, the markets have nosedived since suspension.
I'm all for healthy optimism panamul, but I fear yours is on this occasion, misplaced.
I am predicting a fall in the region of 25%, due to the lofty valuation of Selection and the market turmoil.
This stock is therefore a strong sell on open on reintroduction in my humble opinion.

Apart from(a) the potential of Selection, (b) the over twice over-subscription by institutions at 30p, and (c) the excellent track record of MXC with companies like CTP, Accumuli, Redcentric to name a few, for those that are still in doubt regarding the potential share price of CSI upon relisting, I would turn your attention to two other companies that have been recently graced by MXC:- Pinnacle share price has increased by over 100% since it was announced that MXC now have their man running the company. Nothing else done yet. Just MXC now running the show and the market has doubled its valuation of the business.- Cash-shell Eco-City Vehicles is currently being valued at about 2.5 times its cash value simply due to MXC's "takeover". Sure, this sounds like poor value, but that is the value the market is placing on a cash shell simply due to it being under MXC's control. So with all that in mind, justified or not, the suggestion that we could open anywhere near 30p is just ignorant of the way markets have responded to MXC's involvement in the past.

26p? What a load of nonsense.Let's remember that this was over twice oversubscribed at 30p by a long list of specialist institutions. So no way this can possibly open at anything anywhere near 30p. If it does it will be bought like crazy. The mm wouldn't take such a careless risk.

Afternoon zac,
Was wondering why it's so quiet? Anyway, had a look, so erm, pro-forma circa £14m cash and a business of £35m eh? Let's round it up to £50m. Now we must factor-in sector weakness since suspension, only fair. What do you reckon? 10%? Call it £45m? 172m shares? I get 26 pence zac? You get 50 pence zac? I'll round mine down to 25 pence zac, then it's nice and simple.

50p - zac
25p - ACT

Anyone else want a go?
