You look at some of the sharp re-ratings in this Sector recently,
and CGS is looking markedly undervalued imv.

CGS may have over 20 Million in next cash by the Interims next year,
as their major capex spending is now over.

Possible breakout coming here shortly imo.

Looking at the forecasts, the 2010/11 estimates now look at least 10% too low,
so expect upgrades imv.

Excellent Interims & a maintained divi. There's much more to come from CGS.

This will have a v positive share price impact in my view.

CGS's statements are famously cautious, this is as optimistic as I
have heard them sound for a long time."

That is an understatement EI !

Agree entirely!

New customers, 90% operation to previous highs, CNC Speedwell has new work.....

....quietly getting on with things in a very business-like fashion.

Previous capital investment is now paying off.

Are you sure? It says the board meeting to approve the results is today. I'd guess tomorrow is the more likely issue date. Or do they have really early board meetings?

Not sure why China comes into the equation as the majority of Castings customers and competitors are European as it is expensive to cart heavy castings around the world. In my view the rebound in price is due the srength of the commercial vehicle market.CGS do not have a long official order book but have to react quickly to customer demand either upwards or downwards.
Institutions now have a lot more shares than a few years ago.

Welcome 'd0ubtf1re'.

Fair point reference global management of Chinese currency and follow through benefits here.

There is also a fair amount of M&A activity in this sector and enough rumours to go around too. Considering Mr Cooke length of tenure and current age there is either succession planning or something else no doubt challenging the BoD.
