23/2/2012 22:58 | I guess dom is one of the 'old Caspian' shareholders. He needs to realise this is a completely different business now, based on tungsten mining in Spain. A name change reflecting this would be a good idea though! IMPO/DYOR. | jojo_jo

23/2/2012 12:23 | Matty, that's clearly wrong. An earlier post is nearer the mark (read the post number 28 in full), viz... JoJo_Jo - 14 Feb'12 - 22:39 - 28 of 137 edit Hi, just for reference I've moved some of my early January posts relating to valuation, tailings project etc: I've tried to assess the value of the tungsten in place. I'm not really sure, but have used low values per pound of WO3 (tungsten trioxide). The lowest price I can find is $20/lb for near pure, although I've seen higher quoted. Accordingly 36m tonnes of 0.09% of ore equates to a reserves value (for the mine reserves only, excluding the tailings) around $1.45bn. A very large figure relative to mkt.cap! I don't know how much it will cost to extract/purify etc. but they say "relatively low cost". ----------------- Not $16bn, but at £1.4bn the tungsten mine reserves alone (excluding the tailings) are worth over 300 times the current mkt.cap., so there's huge upside potential here medium-long term. If the test drillings indicate even larger (or better) reserves, this £1.4bn value could prove very conservative. IMPO/DYOR. | jojo_jo
22/2/2012 15:42 | lol. As if. | domtheone
22/2/2012 13:37 | Bozza 1p will be very very conservative once the figures are released. | flashheart
22/2/2012 13:32 | thought we'd have news by now bozza... can't be long now... tick tock :-) | dicko80
22/2/2012 13:15 | slowly, slowly ticking up and not on too many radars yet so still a good time to keep topping up as if the drill results come back positive then its goodbye to 1p | bozzawozza |
