Interview with the CARL FD on H1 results -

If carl can get a little higher and make 100 a support level then 125 would be a reasonable assumption based on gap between previous Support and resistance. 100 remains resistace for now.

I just don't understand why share price consider CARL to be a Sell - from today's share price activity, the mkt's equally confused.

I'm surprised that share price retain a glum stance on CARL

Carl has been on my watchlist for ages and my interest has now been triggered due to sub-80p. Anyone have any views on the recent fall?

OK, so the stockmarket was shaken by the doubt over Dubai's ability to pay back debts but that was mainly banks, then commodities that got hit.

Not really sure how/why this should effect the casual dining market except for the fact that Carluccio have 1 of their 2 franchises based in Dubai

Because todays trades didn't move the share price they were probably a rollover.

I dont really see CARL as one for short/medium trading.
It has a reasonable yield and is tucked away in a corner of my protfolio.
When the recesssion is well and truely over and we get back over 200p I might well trade out, but until then we have a solid cash generative medium yield safe and growing company, I will let it sleep in its corner, (but not let the directors sleep!).

The Company's preliminary results for the 52 week period ending 27 September 2009 will be announced on 8 December 2009.

I wonder if the food is any good at the AGM ?

Any thoughts on today's big trades? A couple of small PIs appear to have taken them as a signal to sell.

I firmly believe in CARL and want to stay in, but sometimes the chart can be so counter-intuitive as to determine the short to medium term trend.

Interesting figures from the major coffee chains recently - I wonder how much of their success might CARL enjoy?

Given the recent Mkt improvement and the continuing positive signs emerging from CARL, I find it hard to see us not getting a significant share price improvement before the year end. Possibly upto C120p.
