JD Wetherspoon is widely expected to announce that it has completed a refinancing of its debts when it reports interim results on Thursday. With the pub operator having indicated that like-for-like sales grew a smidgen in the first half and that total sales improved four per cent, thanks to the opening of new pubs, the focus for investors will be the terms of the new banking facilities and what constraints they might have on the group's expansion plans – Financial Times

I notice property prices in london up 3% in Jan apparently according to City am

With property in central london back to pre 2008 levels, it can only be a good thing for the NAV of this company. Onwards and upwards.

it's marking time - hasn't given much back in reality.

Setting up for the next new high rally imo.

Gentlemen!

What has happened?

I go into hospital for a couple of weeks. The surgeons debate whether they're going to cut a few bits off me - not those bits! And they send me home alone to await my fate.

And what do I find in my absence? You've let the price slip! Come on lads, I expected it to be over a quid by now but we're well short.

So much for St David's Day, what will it be by St Patrick's?

Faucet seems to have some decent pubs, many of them around Tottenham Court Road and Covent Garden, a few I've been in thirty years ago when I was trying, and failing, to drink Fitzrovia dry.

The Angel & Crown and The Haven looks like a good fits for the Capital Pub Company.

I don't know the William Morris, although I think I've walked past it, it's certainly very handy for the Curry House that I use in Colliers Wood. If you see anybody in the Curry House with a white face, it'll probably be me - a BIG vegetable biriani for £3.25!

I don't know if South Wimbledon is on the up, as the William Morris might also fit.

The Oakhill Tavern in Beckenham

certainly needs to be rescued by someone.

It is always a great pity when companies like The Bar Group and the The London Town Pubs go to the wall but the pubs will be bought by other entrepreneurs and, hopefully, most jobs will be saved.

Having trawled through their portfolios, I don't think that there's much of interest in either these companies to the one we have shares in. Checking their London pubs on Beer-in-the-Evening has pulled up no gems, I expect the appointed Administrators will keep most of them open, if only to keep the pond life off the street.

The Market Makers aren't keen to drop the price of the shares or to sell any to punters - well, not when I tried.

It was on Friday that 237gmoney mentioned that 21,292 shares had gone through at 92p, I had hoped that that would have meant 0.5p upwards, instead of downwards. Oh well, there was probably some profit taking, perhaps we'll see some movement in the other direction tomorrow.

Agree David. boads well for the future as the Bar group had 20 pubs I think all with locations near to some of Capital pubs. London town just had too many pubs and werent able to look after them all....

Another busy weekend in the Alexandra in clapham, the amount of money I'm spending in that place I cant believe the share price is not over £10 a pop now!!!

Still I will keep trying.....

Other Pub Groups having to sell off weak performing pubs or some closing down is actually very good news for CPUB

I dont think we will be hitting 90p today Meic....Not good news at London Town today, seems they have hit the wall with 407 pubs....and the Bar Group have also hit the wall this weekend just gone. Still Capital Pub are going strong. Makes a big difference having pubs in the right locations.....

An interesting morning!

The share price has fallen 0.5p to 89p.

The prices I have been offered are 88.5p - 90.96p, an average of 89.73p.

The Market Makers are willing to take somewhat larger quantities back but the most they would let me buy is 1,000.

I still expect to see 90p before the close.
