23/8/2014 10:40 | I am guessing that most of the nominee holding is CLA's original backers held in trust. What would they think of an offer less than NAV? | russman
22/8/2014 23:35 | To be fair I would accept AVAP paper having done OK in the past with it, but the conversion rate would have to be 25p minimum and even then AVAP would be getting a great deal. WH Ireland issued a note late last year with a 35p target price for CLA based on CLA being rated on parity with their peers. | callumross
22/8/2014 20:46 | Business is Business. But AVAP requires large amounts of capital to finance its business. It should offer AVAP paper to buy out our minority. Jeff would be naive to "disappoint" new shareholders for the sake of a few quid when he will be asking us to finance the next deal pretty soon. | russman
22/8/2014 17:16 | Horndean - looks like you might get your 20p without a bid. | dasv
22/8/2014 16:46 | Ive been holding less than a year so maybe not as sensitive on price as others might be. The alternative is they continue what they have been doing. Running the company for their own benefit with no dividends. NAV might rise but its neither here nor there if you are never going to see that come back to you. Id probably want nearer 22p in AVAP shares. The thing wobbles around and need a bit of padding to reflect potential falls. | horndean eagle
22/8/2014 13:56 | I think I would be wanting more than that, or a fair share swap for AVAP shares. | davebowler
22/8/2014 13:49 | You would happily walk away with 20p per share and a huge discount to net assets? | callumross
22/8/2014 12:40 | Maybe you are right but I was working off Stock o pedia figures (for speed!) | davebowler
22/8/2014 12:36 | Haven't checked for a while, Dave, but I recalled the NAV to be 35p? | callumross
22/8/2014 12:31 | Its still at a 38% discount to estimated Net Asset Value of 29.6p | davebowler
22/8/2014 11:58 | moving up on every small buy, very strange ! | jeanesy2
22/8/2014 10:57 | no idea. My only guess is that AVAP might make a bid for the remaining shares and the share price could be normalising to NAV. But whatever the reason, I'm not complaining. | dasv
22/8/2014 09:12 | yet another rise this am.What is going on here? comments anyone ? | jeanesy2
21/8/2014 14:36 | Acouple of 100k trades this pm meanes things are hooting up here. AVAP results next week, co-incidence ? | jeanesy2
20/8/2014 16:19 | Creeping up steadily on week by week basis and good to see te hosue broker WH ireland leading the shares up by being on the bid in 50k shares size. Results soon. Maybe better than forecast or maybe the MM's see an AVAP bid. | callumross
14/7/2014 23:38 | Another Non Exec Noddy. Jeff appears to need another man with a calculator. | russman
13/7/2014 11:48 | You may need to be very patient if you are using a retail broker. | russman
11/7/2014 15:51 | Been trying to acquire more of these for week or so now. Keep trying with limit orders at 16.25p but so far, no joy. | callumross
10/7/2014 09:38 | hxxp://www.instituti | davebowler
20/6/2014 07:08 | Russman..AVAP and Vidaco nominees ( Is that Jeff for sure ??) are now over 90% but am not sure that means anything but if they did offer for the rest it could be that is now the minimum. | harrogate
19/6/2014 23:30 | Interesting. Does this put the Epsom concert party over 90% of the shares. Does this put a floor of 20p as the minimum AVAP would need to offer to buy out minorities. Why did AVAP not tender for all outstanding CLA shares? | russman
19/6/2014 12:37 | Maybe. But 2,500,000 shares say at the moment 20p is ok and quite a few have sold for 15p+ recently so why would they pay 30P? | harrogate
19/6/2014 12:28 | Why don't they just do the lot and put us CLA shareholders out of our misery! Mind you, I wouldn't be happy with a 20p takeout price at all. Surely would have to be 30p to reasonably equate to NAV? | callumross
19/6/2014 10:56 | The maths are based on the amount of AVAP shares they are swapping for 2,500,000 CLA shares. Based on an AVAP share price of £1.32 it works out at 20p value for each CLA share. They are doing it since I am sure they want to buy all CLA. At 20p it is earnings and NAV value enhancing and if they can do the lot it will be a great bit of tidying up | harrogate |
