28/5/2012 13:58 | GDP doing very nicely today Howard :) New research note released suggesting EPS 6.5p next year and final line says potential valuation 'in excess of 50p per share in today's money' | bozzy_s
28/5/2012 13:56 | 1.6m @ mid price? What's that all about? Guess it's a buy as there was plenty of stock available and no-one could possibly sell that many @ mid. Director buy? EDIT - another 2.6m trade. I wonder? | bozzy_s
22/5/2012 18:57 | Thought there was a buyer around today, hopefully that 250k is a director. | 27howard
22/5/2012 14:06 | It's always 'buy the rumour, sell the news' Howard. Results are dreadful but forward looking statement and net asset position both good. NTAV (i.e net tangible asset value / excluding goodwill) is comfortably above 10p per share, mostly held as cash. | bozzy_s
22/5/2012 12:34 | No problem buying or selling now 4.3-4.55p, really thought this might take off this morning, instead people sell. | 27howard
22/5/2012 11:00 | Cash position improved since year end with sale of CAS which added £3.25m cash. And trading improved. Also of the liabilities totalling E19.381m, E6.426m is payment on account so will switch sides when services supplied? And 7.668m is CDC accruals - not sure how this works? | ghhghh
22/5/2012 10:05 | Surely the directors will buy in today, size available and at almost the lowest ever price ? | 27howard
22/5/2012 09:24 | I am not an accountant, so be gentle with me! Current assets 43,419 Current liabilities (25,732) leaves balance of 17,687 and Total comprehensive income for the year (28,536) strip out Carbon price fair value adjustment 21,654 gives a trading loss of ( 6,882) so a couple of years to turn the company around at the current cash burn? | hemel
22/5/2012 09:16 | Thanks rat attack I appreciate it's come from the biogas project, but it is still debt, and I think it's disingenuous of Camco to bang on about how much cash they have without netting it off against the loans they have too. The debt will be repaid over the life of the project not next year, and IMO constrains Camco at a time when the bottom has fallen out of the carbon market. Just my view. | smarkmmm
22/5/2012 09:05 | smarkmmm - here is your answer for the debt: EUR15.4m of the cash inflow from debt is for US biogas project capital expenditure (project assets under construction). This debt will be repaid from the project revenue over the life of the project. | rat attack
22/5/2012 08:30 | Balance sheet shows: Cash 14.4m Euro, BUT net of loans and borrowings gives a DEBT of 5.1m Euros Camco only seems to mention its cash balance, not its liabilities. Correct me if I'm wrong. | smarkmmm
22/5/2012 08:20 | Singer Capital Markets have a brokers report out today, but cannot find any details. | rat attack
22/5/2012 08:05 | This is just crazy, selling at 4.3p ??? | 27howard
22/5/2012 07:28 | I take it you were the 100K purchase well done you should see a fantastic return on this | ch1ck
22/5/2012 07:27 | Everyone seems to be bullish on results, and lets hope you are right to hold these views as with my average at 8.5p I do need some forward momentum! However, I need to read these results again to ensure this cash balance is not a red herring! At this time I wouldn't want to see any diversification eroding cash if a sustainable business isn't present (too much execution and business risk) and I have some operational questions to resolve in my mind!! | rat attack
22/5/2012 07:24 | Once the overhang clears it will take off. I've added more at 4.91p, it is well off the radar. | 27howard
22/5/2012 07:20 | A good purchase Ch1ck. A break of 5p here and we could have a real run | howdlep
22/5/2012 07:05 | The Results are the trigger I need to start putting some more money into the stock. just bought 114000 @4,83p This has reduced my pps to 6p. This is now my third largest holding after PVCS and CW. and has the potential to out strip both of these. | ch1ck
22/5/2012 07:02 | Buyers, could be a strong day, 50-100% up, come on market leader read to move forward valued nowhere near cash, this has been coming. | 27howard
22/5/2012 07:00 | Worries over more write downs makes it hard to value at the minute but as evidence of recovery starts to show the shares will follow just hold tight. Diversifying can only help. | battlebus2
22/5/2012 06:59 | we knew the write-downs were coming and the excellent cash balance was already RNS'd, so its all about about the bullish forward looking statement. It should be an interesting day | howdlep
22/5/2012 06:57 | Any other views. I mean how can a market leader be valued at near half it's cash ? Directors need to pile in today to send the right signal. | 27howard
22/5/2012 06:55 | Yes big write downs but looking healthy for the future. Certainly worth double the shareprice. | battlebus2
22/5/2012 06:46 | Well if it does not rise on recovery hopes today it never will especially with so much more cash than market cap, somebody will buy them out. "I'm pleased to report the hard work we have done over the past six months has resulted in a carbon portfolio with significant value despite current market conditions. Camco has successfully restructured to operate in the new environment and expanded its business model to develop clean energy projects. Long term clean energy projects will provide the Company with stable annuity streams from power production complimenting a carbon business which can once again produce good margins. We are now the leader in strategic markets where emission reduction and clean energy development will be a focus for the coming decades." | 27howard
21/5/2012 09:05 | 4.6p to buy, so that 50k seller at 4.75p can buy them back instantly and save £75 before charges mad ! | 27howard |
