Maybe they should pay the advisers in shares! Now that I would like to see but we all know that won't happen as cash in hand is better ...can't think why.

Normal practice to get paid on completion [they will be comfortable knowing that the monies are sitting in escrow and not being paid as salaries!]

FFS...... the Nomad and the Broker and the Registrars and the Lawyers aren't charity cases!!!! WHY on earth would they agree not to charge for their professional services & advice if CMR don't eventually list a some point in time???????????!!

Yup with the added proviso that the advisers only get paid when CMR IPO

i.e. 1st February 2016 CMR IPO on AIM / 1st February 2016 500K released to CMR / 1st February 2016 advisers get paid

Yes LM - so money would be held in escrow until they get the £500k and if not, monies are returned...or they keep it anyway and pay themselves some money with no relisting, just shares issued?

They do what they have always done....pay themselves using your money!

No one's saying the shares would be invalid. Just want to know what happens if they don't raise enough money to relist. No point having more shares in a company if they are not tradeable.

READ MY POST AGAIN....never stated that shares would be issued just that monies would be held in escrow i.e. all subject to CMR IPO AIM

So as soon as £500K is raised the work can commence for the AIM IPO with all the relevant advisers getting paid [normal practice] on the AIM IPO

P.S. - your response suggests that you are close to the company or indeed part of it?

You can't issue new shares and then 3 months later say they are invalid. Take sense.

The money raised this month is being spent from Day One (after shares issued) to start the not inconsiderable expense & process to a re-listing on AIM. If - for arguments sake - they didn't re-list....... where's the money coming from to reimburse those that contributed to the fundraise???????????????!!!!!!!!!

Hi, LM - Is that happening here? That was one of the first questions I had, what if they don't relist? What happens to our money? Do we just get more shares in a company that isn't trading and they keep the money?

Knowing an awful lot about this CMR situation including all about the management and directors i would urge extreme caution here.

If CMR really can re-list on AIM then any fund raising for these purposes must be done on the basis that all monies raised will be returned to investors in full if a listing does not occur within say a 3 month time period.

In the meantime the monies must be held in escrow with a stockbroker and/or lawyer for the safety of all the shareholders.

Otherwise i fear that you will all be putting good money after bad....

fundraisings are usually followed by silence or litigation, then a year or so later more fundraising.

Sorry, I have not been keeping up to date. I saw those fundraisings and steered clear. Was all a bit complicated.

Do shareholders think the offer is good? are they taking part? or is it all a sprat to catch a mackerel?

Where have you been the last 6 years, whoppy?

There's been fundraising. There's been the creation of Iberian Gold to manage the Recursos Metalicos permits. Then more fundraising from CMR shareholders. Then litigation over the ownership of the permits. Then Iberian Gold gave back to CMR the permits and then got taken over and then went bust!! It's all been well documented on the CMR website.

Crikey!, I was going to send a cheque off for £2k..not so sure now.

The inference I got was that metal prices are at an all time low, hence the valuation of £9m attributed to the Mase Valverde prospect is low and will go up?

There are some very nice surprises in the drilling results at Mase Valverde and that they are better than expected meaning more upside.

The £500k being raised is very small and not that dilutive and is being used so shareholders can participate at a low price.

Glencore are committed to developing the mine, although it's a long way off from production, an inferred JORC compliant resource would more than underpin the valuation of the company.

There are some smaller prospects that can be produced near term, giving possible cashflow.

Obviously all of the above is going to require substantial fundraisings but the resource is there to support this and getting listed is the first step and the open offer is giving shareholders a good deal??

Or is this not right?
