04/2/2016 10:43 | Thanks Mortimer - think that should be 2.9% increase | glaws2
04/2/2016 09:02 | SMMT figures for January new car registrations out today. Off to a flyer! Best January since 2005 for new car market as registrations increase 2.9% to 169,678 units. Private registrations fuel growth, up 8.2% to 73,061 vehicles – the highest level since 2004. | mortimer7
25/1/2016 21:01 | Shanklin - done. I realised when I rechecked that I was double-counting the dividend, hence the target price of 99.9p is slightly lower than I originally posted. Feedback welcome. | effortless cool
25/1/2016 08:59 | Shanklin. Take your point. My online broker let me down.... | d40eq6
24/1/2016 23:11 | Header updated to reflect acquisitions and disposal. Target price increased to 100.9p. | effortless cool
22/1/2016 16:13 | Tried to buy shares at 9am. No stock available!! | d40eq6
22/1/2016 13:06 | Well done, mum - 10% up already! | effortless cool
22/1/2016 10:05 | Have added here this am, the motor industry still looks bright to me, got to be at least two years of good growth ahead, the cycle looks far from over. the share price action looks like traders have come on board | theclangers
22/1/2016 08:33 | Massive volume yesterday, over 500k and essentially comprised of relatively small transactions, which engendered a volatile and nerve wracking day for those watching the share price. Hope today is a less bumpy ride and a recovery. (9 trades so far, all buys and up 1.75p) | mortimer7
21/1/2016 11:55 | could well have been a big seller that's changed strategy, | theclangers
21/1/2016 10:59 | All IMHO but surely this is a great buy. Did not at all think I'd see this share at this price! | mfhmfh
21/1/2016 10:25 | Edit - FTSE 250 | wilk1
21/1/2016 10:21 | Delayed 75k sell. By the way Pdg is as cheap, has just got into FTSE, has a much better yield than Camb and is just bouncing off support. Another terrific buy. ( also look at WTM a little beauty ) Sorry for spamming, just these opportunities don't come along every day. | wilk1
21/1/2016 10:15 | Frustrating to see the share price drop again today, but remember CEO Mark Lavery holds a 40% stake. Also buys far outweigh sells this morning. | mortimer7
21/1/2016 09:58 | Pdg has fallen too. Triple dip ? 6 month out global recession ? Just my thoughts | wilk1
21/1/2016 09:49 | Vertu (VTU) is showing a similarly vertiginous drop, so likely a sector think rather than a company thing. The last market crash caused a large drop in new car sales - perhaps the market is simply anticipating a repeat? | effortless cool
21/1/2016 09:40 | thanks pastybap, any one know why this has dropped, I don't, I'm sitting nicely on top of a 85p spike, the outlook for car sales have never looked better, cheap manufacturing costs, (commodities at rock bottom prices)running costs have never been better, cheaper to use petrol than but a train ticket. manufactures starting to offer 0% finance, house prices are very high so money is around, a growing population added to by immigration of adults looking for a better life that would include a nice car as they settle and become more prosperous, It's a bit of a ramp, but what have I missed on the down side, or is just selling on the news and hoping to get back in cheaper. | theclangers
21/1/2016 09:39 | No joy there, bought at 70. | wilk1
21/1/2016 09:34 | No comment here this morning ? I've just had to put a limit order in to try and get some at 69 or below. | wilk1
20/1/2016 20:39 | Hi theclangers. You could try downloading a free add-on called ublock origin. Stops almost all adverts on all sites without slowing anything down. Ps. I have no financial interest in it :) | pastybap
20/1/2016 19:42 | Hi Guys, Thanks, I'm new to ADFN so still feeling my way round a bit, I find if I log in I get bombarded with adverts, so I've been clicking on share chat not logged in, it lists all posts from all threads by time added, I think, to post I log in but had no idea it was going an old thread. I have this saved in my favorites tool bar, you can see all if not logged in at: | theclangers
20/1/2016 16:27 | Perhaps a few had their stop losses triggered by the sharp dip mid afternoon, judging by the small flurry of sells in a short space of time. | mortimer7
20/1/2016 15:45 | Graham1TY, theclangers, Come and join the in-crowd ... | effortless cool |
