23/1/2017 11:45 | Hi David, I was thinking the wee rise may be connected to the president now Ex-president of Gambia being prized out of office against his wishes. The peacefull transition of power, Bodes well for Africa ! and a reminder for Mrs Mugabe if she 'tried' to take control after his passing !. Thinking out loud. Regards. | tenapen
23/1/2017 10:02 | Tenapen, I wonder if there is anything more behind the walk up of the Offer? Like you, no free funds to take up the subscription but in any case had convinced myself to sit on hands given the huge success (not) this has been already, :-) Happy to hold though, and am just waiting to see what happens here... DL | davidlloyd
20/1/2017 20:28 | Edging up. Money is tight so I will not be able to take up my allotted subscription. I am though able to have some wee top ups along the way. Regards. | tenapen
22/12/2016 10:07 | 21 December 2016 Cambria Africa Plc ("Cambria" or the "Company") Update on Dispute Company to post security for costs in its $1.8 Million counterclaims against Consilium The Company advised on 18 July 2016 that it has filed $1.84 million in Counterclaims against Consilium in the English High Court. On 20 December 2016, the High Court ordered Cambria to post security for costs of GBP381,342.38 and ordered it to pay costs of GBP30,000 to Consilium. The security is to be paid into court by 6 January 2017 and will be held pending determination of Cambria's counterclaims. The Company's board was disappointed with the ruling which was made notwithstanding an opinion by the company's auditors, Baker Tilly Isle of Man LLC, that "Cambria would be able to meet costs of GBP425,000 should they become payable." The board believes that it will comfortably meet the obligations of this ruling and go on to prevail in its counterclaim against Consilium. | tenapen
28/11/2016 20:03 | > 'seem to have shareholder interests in their sights.' That is unusual nowadays. So we can look forward to the 'detailed announcement regarding the Open Offer implementation timeline and the publication of an Open Offer circular to be sent to shareholders, in due course'. There is life in this old dog yet. | livewireplus
28/11/2016 19:17 | The Board are feeling confident ! and seem to have shareholder interests in their sights. i will be taking up my subscription and see where it takes us from here. no advice intended. Regards. | tenapen

19/11/2016 17:23 | When i thought Zimbabwe had hit rock bottom ! they look to have further to fall !. Jason Burke Africa correspondent, Friday 18 November 2016 16.59 GMT Authorities in Zimbabwe have arrested dozens of opposition activists before the launch of controversial “bond notes”, which the government hopes will inject desperately needed cash into the failing economy of the former British colony. Many ordinary people fear the bond notes will trigger economic chaos, wiping out savings and livelihoods. Cont... | tenapen
09/11/2016 00:17 | Indeed .... bottom draw .... to be brought out in to the sunlight sometime in the future.... hopefully smelling sweet Wonder where Kaur70 stuck his shares as his 3p short term target wasn't met :-) 19 Oct '16 - 11:14 - 304 of 310 . | cougar99
02/11/2016 22:39 | That is pretty much all we can do here- it is a bottom drawer share for me and is long ago written off-so anything positive is a bonus. Am actually now confident this will eventually come good but that's not based on anything except gut instinct. Good luck to all holders. DL | davidlloyd
01/11/2016 04:02 | Well we are now back to share price level I was expecting it to fall back to. Hopefully it'll stay around this level until next positive announcements .... looking to the future .... | cougar99
23/10/2016 03:14 | Indeed ... the long-term outlook for CMB depends on future developments in the Zimbabwean political situation. I still remember the Lancaster House Agreement being negotiated. It would be interesting to be able to see what present situation in Zimbabwe would be like now if in the end it had been Joshua Nkomo that had come out on top in the years afterwards. I'm optimistic on CMB's short term performance and the longer-term potential as things progress in Zim - otherwise I wouldn't be holding this share.... | cougar99
22/10/2016 09:09 | Morning, For me the trding update was great. True there is still a very long way to go on a long road but the board have let us know the state of play and imo it looks promising. A lot will depend on what happens when President Mugabe passes and if the West like and want to deal with the new government. If the West do remove the sanctions then CMB are idealy placed to take full advantage of the money that will enter Zimbabwe. IMHO Regards. | tenapen
20/10/2016 09:17 | Indeed .... but as I mentioned before then my opinion was that the RNS was good but not outstanding. Therefore if it stabilises and holds at around 0.9/1.0 pending further news then I will be :-) as that'll still give a 50% rise since RNS.... | cougar99
20/10/2016 08:59 | 321221 sells below bid for 1.05p, they paid 1.32p on Tuesday Going to be a lot of this, people who refuse to hold selling for losses having chased up price when up 100% Going to be a nice buying opportunity here again soon | hatey
19/10/2016 12:14 | an exceptional RNS late yesterday Might pick up more before the afternoon, Expecting at least a 3p price short term | kaur70
19/10/2016 10:34 | an exceptional RNS late yesterday Might pick up more before the afternoon, Expecting at least a 3p price short term | kaur70
19/10/2016 10:25 | Well spotted I did not notice it. A market full of hot money, if you do not sell somebody else will jump in and sell instead. mm combined profits must be closed to £1 billion now, I know quite a few years ago wins were making £50 mil a year but in this market I can see them making far more. | hatey
19/10/2016 10:20 | Looks like someone bought 174666 over 2 buys at 1.5 and sold a few mins later flapping because it dropped a touch. Nice work for the mms | fund1 |
