22/10/2015 15:09 | Given the following Trading update I think today's fall is well overdone, the company is still making a very nice profit, higher than last years, AND are still paying a dividend. I think this will bounce back to about £2.00ish during the next 2/3/4 trading days but as always, time will tell. The Board of Cambian announces that, following receipt of its September management accounts and the re-forecast for the remainder of the year, it believes that Underlying EBITDA for the year to 31 December 2015 will be not less than GBP54m, representing growth of 7.5% on the prior year, and Adjusted EBITDA for the year to 31 December 2015 will be not less than GBP49m; (2014 GBP48.4m). These numbers represent a shortfall to previous expectations. The reasons for this shortfall are a significant increase in organic investment in new places, with growth capital expenditure of over GBP50m expected in the year, which has resulted in increased development losses, and in addition the impact of staff vacancies which has reduced the number of admissions in our Schools and Children's Services. Saleem Asaria, CEO, commented "We now have a total of 3,022 places under our management and we are confident that our increased investment in people and systems will underpin growth in 2016 and onwards." 22/10/2015 09:36 | Fed up here...look at this....Marlowe Holdings Limited (MRL)...Very thinly traded stock so any positive news around acquisitions will see a scramble for shares ...News next week.Ref last RNS ....acquisitions found . £8mil plus to spend, Proven management, very few shares.Got to be a winner ....IMODYOR. | bckttsim
22/10/2015 09:35 | Had a quick look and I guess the reason for the big fall is that they don't seem to have proper financial reporting which makes them a pretty risky play. | salpara111
22/10/2015 09:20 | Surely this fall is massively overdone, I've bought today at just under £1.50. | eastbourne1982
17/8/2015 09:08 | Hi square1 - not sure why I didn't follow my instinct and sell at 305 to buy back in, but hope you're right :-) | bennytheball
06/8/2015 21:08 | Quiet board- always a good sign. Think results due end of the month will be very bullish. Growth and cash generation v impressive imo. Think this is going substantially higher. I hold, of course!!! | square1
15/11/2014 08:34 | Goodness, another person here! I wonder if that tip influenced the recent spike. | bennytheball
13/11/2014 09:46 | Where is everybody? Shares magazine tipped CMBN today. Happy investing (if there is someone out there)MB | miss womble
10/7/2014 19:50 | Looking at a bounce from here and the start of the next leg up from 220 to 270p. | bennytheball
04/7/2014 07:46 | Hi bergster, Sure, but how can 8,875,000 shares one week be over 5%, then the next week under 5%? Wouldn't there be an RNS if they'd issued more? Not a big deal, just intriguing... | bennytheball
02/7/2014 10:33 | is it not just trades they may be making on behalf of investors therefore hovering above/below 5% mark | bergster56
26/6/2014 18:12 | Last two announcements - just looks like Blakrock trading in and out. 16/4 8,875,000 5.15% 19/6 8,875,000 below 5% 25/6 9,696,795 5.63% Bit puzzled though re the numbers - anyone make sense of this? | bennytheball
06/5/2014 18:32 | ok thanks Benny. Looks an interesting company but struggling to get some meat on the bones re numbers. Plus could come back a notch on the recent rise. Think I'll wait till results. Good luck! | mintitan |
