What happens when they do a buyback I wonder? See AGM results.

I presume they'd need to anounce the start of the buyback?

Welcome to Michel Meeus.
So now the board has been extended with someone experienced in wind and alcohol.

I'd always thought that since the new mgt took over that CAD was a 'jam staying firming in the jar' company......opened by invitation only.

will take more firm evidence that they are walking the walk and getting it out of the ground in order for CAD to be viewed as more than a 'jam tomorrow' company

Good to see old faces STILL here after all these years! It would be amazing if our faith(or tardyness!)was rewarded. I detect a bit of optimism from the Company? Anyone going to the AGM?

Looks to me like they've got London Transport managing their news flow. Nothing for ages then three RNS announcements come at once.

1890 US gallons per day max at the moment, 689,850 per year. Positive, but we could do with a few more of these...

If I've understood todays rns correctly then I would like to nominate Rodney Pump's work "A few more barrels at Monastyretska" for the Met's 2014 list.

On a serious note, the talk of late has been more about oil exploration and extraction and less of blue sky corporate tie ups and mega deals. It would be good to see some more steady progress, then perhaps the share price will reflect their cash holding.

Looks like funds are mopping up shares being dumped by small shareholders.

With the reduction in costs ( particularly licence requirements) all it would take is a bit of increase in income to break even this year.

The clock is ticking for gas traders that want to submit bids for use of Eustream's pipeline to Ukraine.

"........With 90 to 95 percent probability, we should be able to ship 8 to 10 (billion cubic metres) per year already as of Sept. 1, depending that certain technical preconditions are met on both the Slovak and Ukrainian side," said Tomas Marecek, chairman of Eustream, the Slovak pipeline operator.

The company wants to evaluate bids for booking the pipeline's capacity by the end of June, Marecek said, although initial bids will be for less than full capacity and instead for flows that Eustream will be certain it can transport. ............."

Wavey - I'm in scotland and it's cloudy, so I can continue to grumble...

I've never known a company that makes itself less attractive to investors, or does so little field operations given that it has cash others would dream of, prospective acreage and existing fields.

Clearly they feel the same - how many other companies would feel the need to add "of this year" when describing timing of the first well in Debeslavetska ;-)

I'm not so sure spangle.

This is one of the first positive bits of news for a good few months. They clearly are doing work behind the scenes - a fact that has not been obvious to investors.

It did look like the company was drifting & BOD living off the cash pile.

I'm more positive now than I have been for a while....must be the sunshine.

The Company can confirm that there have been no disruptions to its operations, since by and large, there aren't any to disrupt

CADOGAN PETROLEUM PLC - Operations Update
PR Newswire

London, May 14

CADOGAN PETROLEUM PLC

Cadogan Operations Update

The Company can confirm that there have been no disruptions to its operations
or to the effective management of its licences during the recent period of
instability.

Eastern Licences

Our recent analysis shows great promise in the upper intervals, in particular
in Pirkovskoe. Following a thorough study of Direct Hydrocarbon Indicators
(DHI) and 3D Amplitude Versus Offset (AVO) reconnaissance, a drillable prospect
has been identified and its characterization is currently underway, showing
good prospectivity and significant potential size.

Western Licences

In Debeslavetska, all the updated DHI reconnaissance technologies have
similarly been applied with so far interesting results. Following some minor
delay due to the current instability in the region, the 2D seismic acquisition
was completed at the end of March. Three new drillable prospects have now been
identified with the best of them currently undergoing further scrutiny.

In addition some relatively deeper (circa. 600m) potential horizons now appear
likely and if our analysis proves correct, will significantly improve potential
resources in the area.

The first well in Debeslavetska will be drilled in late September of this year
and the eventual tie-in to the existing production facilities will take
approximately 4 weeks.

In Monastyretska the planned formation light stimulation was successfully
completed in mid March, immediately increasing production from 20 to 30 bopd.
On May 13th a sucker rod pump was installed and performance tests are currently
ongoing. First results are expected by the end of next week.

Negotiations with local operators for the acquisition of two further, existing
wells, with the aim to bring them back to production, are currently underway.
Performance monitoring of these three wells will give the Company a better
understanding of the reservoir characteristics and behaviour, allowing us to
formulate future plans to increase production further.
