09/4/2014 10:36 | Another couple of weeks until the 2013 results. Will they slip out a operations update ? ========= o/t 09-04-2014 Self proclaimed Crimea government is planning to transfer management of hydrocarbon fields in Azov and Black Sea to Russian companies such as Gazprom. Current owners of offshore licences will have to re-register in accordance with Russian legislation. | stonefold
04/4/2014 20:42 | #8 checking in. Is 'no news', actually good news? i.e. because the co. hasn't had to inform the mkts of trouble due to unrest in Ukraine......then everything in CAD land continuing as normal? | waveneygnome

20/3/2014 09:28 | I trust that Cad has checked that the licence renewal process has not been affected by the administrative upheaval that may be occurring in Ukraine. Licence expiry Zag -- 24-04-2014 Mona -- Nov 2014 Bit -- Dec 2014 ------------------ As the option of offshore development becomes problematic for Ukraine 19-03-2014 - Shell pull out of Skifska PSA 19-03-2014 - Russian deputy environment minister says may limit foreign firms access to Ukrainian shelf, they would have to partner with Russian firms (Gazprom / Rosneft) More emphasis will be placed on onshore projects. The government has already spoken to Shell and Chevron regarding their Shale Psa's. So hopefully some clarity about the Westgasinvest project will emerge in the near future. 14-03-2014 Anti Shale Gas lobbying of Ukraine government. (includes Shell, Chevron ,Westgasinvest) -------------------- 07-03-2014 Gas interconnector Hungary - Slovakia 20-03-2014 Cad should consider getting an investment group together to offer partial financial backing to Eustream. Who require $20million for the technical aspects of the reverse flow. In exchange for normal loan terms and for transit usage fees and capacity options useful for trading. 13-03-2014 Western Ukraine's under-used underground gas storage capacity is being discussed as a potential storage hub - beneficial to western countries (such as UK) that have very little gas storage capacity of their own. Those countries could issue loan guarantees to underwrite the risk of payments for gas bought in by Ukraine. ---------- | stonefold
13/3/2014 18:45 | This isn't about Crimea or Ukraine it's about CaD can it preform who knows,,when it's share price continues to drop with little news from th management I look CAD overall and it seems to be underfunded, Politically whether Russia takeover or not is really hrere or there Russia could nationalize it then it's definetly quack quack | ian 50
08/3/2014 13:08 | Not AIM but sometimes seemingly AIMLESS. This company has had more winters than summers, but as it is spring I wish the revised operations team good luck with this years attempts to give the assets a good kick. =========== If Russia gets the Crimea, do they also get more control of the Black Sea / Azov Sea including oil/gas /mineral rights ? 03-03-2014 "Russian interests have been trying to take over the regional energy company ChornomorNaftoGaz, Ukrainian Energy and Coal Industry Minister Yuriy Prodan said Monday. "Attempts are being made to forcibly take over the company," Prodan said. "Actions like that, such as meddling with the energy, power and gas transportation systems, can have severe consequences." ChornomorNaftoGaz, a subsidiary of the national energy company Naftogaz Ukrayiny, is the sole producer of natural gas and oil from offshore fields in the Black Sea." Even if they don't this uncertainty will delay potential/actual offshore projects. 05-03-2014 "Exxonmobil said its pursuit of the Ukraine Skifska block in the Black Sea has been stalled due to the unrest in that country. Andrew Swiger, senior vice president at Exxon, told investors the company's activity offshore Ukraine was 'on hold due to current circumstances.' " ==================== This doesn't affect Cad much as their gas production volume is small - but the downward pressure on the prices they get for their gas might be removed. 05-03-2014 "Gazprom to Suspend Gas Discount to Ukraine starting in April." ==================== The new Ukrainian government are looking to find potential wrong doing by the previous government ministers. Which may result in slightly re-jigging some recent agreements. 06-03-2014 "..........Commercia ........" =============== The gas pipeline between Ukraine and Slovakia is soon to be able to deal with reverse flow. So that is another option for gas traders to explore. Also if the USA, EU or IMF agree loans to Ukraine then Ukraine will have some funds to pay for gas imports. 05-03-2014 " .......... In the short term, the Commission is ready to assist Ukraine in diversifying its gas supply routes, notably by ensuring that reverse flows with the EU, notably via Slovakia (in addition to Poland and Hungary as is currently the case), can be operationalised as soon as possible. The Commission should ensure, together with Slovakia, that the Ukrainian and Slovakian transmission system operators establish the necessary rules and process that allows gas to flow from EU to Ukraine in increased capacities in order to enhance the security of supply in Ukraine. The text of a Memorandum of Understanding between the transmission system operators of Slovakia and Ukraine for the physical reverse flow via the Ukraine-Slovak pipeline was brokered by the Commission in December 2013 but was not signed. The Commission is ready to facilitate the signature by the two operators if requested. The Commission remains committed to continue working with the relevant Member States to facilitate the creation of additional reverse flow corridors to Ukraine via Bulgaria and Romania and via Croatia and Hungary. ..................." ==================== Normality returns. The conference has been rescheduled to 23 -26 June 2014 The website hasn't yet been updated with the revised list of those attending. =============== Talking about websites not being updated. I see the Cad major shareholders page: This information is accurate as at 23 April 2013 I thought these were supposed to be updated at least twice a year ? ==================== | stonefold
08/3/2014 10:57 | i agree with that also mutantpoodle. i don't particularly trust the directors to serve their shareholders well... but i also think that any MBO will be at a premium to the current price. | brando69
08/3/2014 10:47 | and directors owning loads of shares increases the possibility that they may decide to withdraw from the public market and crystalise their ownership in private hands. so yes a good shareholding by directors shows commitment etc.........but only up to a point is it in best interests of others. | mutantpoodle
08/3/2014 09:51 | It's not an AIM share! | brando69
08/3/2014 07:53 | Agreed Brando. In addition......I'm still in as the directors still own big chunks of this....unlike most other AIM shares. They have more to lose than my speculative punt. My b/e point now is 10.8p. | waveneygnome

05/3/2014 09:50 | Yes, you nailed it. Can't present a proper point o view in 20-30 words. You keep your message short (many reasons) and therefore you expose it to misunderstandings. I just wouldn't personally call it quacking. | kalt12340
04/3/2014 14:21 | CAD is based on old mining prior to cad there hv been so many false starts and and chronic JORC reports which are insubstantial you can't gv th shares away make th pits a pond and you could be investing in a nature reserve Quack quack | ian 50
04/3/2014 11:14 | "Cad is Dead"? I don't know. and funny thing, neither do you. I say, business was and is done in much worse places than ukraine, so this is not a factor, Point is CAD doesn't know whether there is a gas or whatever they are looking for. This is the biggest thing about CAD, and rest comes out of it. "Yr be quacking for a long time" you saying? don't want to guess | kalt12340
04/3/2014 10:53 | Don't believe it irrespective of what's happening CAD dead duck Yr be quacking for a long time | ian 50
04/3/2014 10:29 | Political situation is just a side show from CAD perspective. second, as we know Volume is the King, don't care if CAD get to 1p with low volume. "It has never been so bad, that it couldn't be worse..." this on the positive side | kalt12340 |
