|Money now received!
Over and out!|
|No sign yet with HL.|
|Has anyone received payment for their shares yet? Vodaphone shareholder info. couldn't say and referred me to Equiniti, they have just kept me hanging about. As usual, P.I.'s can get stuffed while these scoundrels concentrate on feathering their nests.|
|Yes well done Grim and thanks for the advice given and not heeded!
At least I'm not alone.|
|Thanks, and to you too.
Well done grim. You got out in time.|
|Thanks to all who provided information, options, entertainment and comfort over the years on this and other blogs, during the decline and demise of this once great British company.
I guess I will see Grim, and Toby around and about.
Good luck to all
|apologies - reread the redmayne letter and it did state 10th ofAugust as the last day for funds to be sent....|
|Jeez, Tobysam, I assumed it was a full service brokers too at that exorbitant price.
If you're really just after execution-only service, check this list out
|reading the scheme circular the 10th is the latest day for crest settlements. Redmayne stated in a letter that cleared funds should be available from 27th july... Bit of a grey area?|
|Thank you Sharw.|
|About Aug. 10th see page 10 of -
|Can anyone tell me, when are we supposed to get the cash for selling CW. to VOD?|
|HSBC 12.95 + stamp duty to buy
Flat 12.95 to sell.
Very easy and eficent online service, frequent trding ie more than 9 trades in a qtr brings the price down to £7.95 p trade., wy pay more..........!!!!!!!!!!!!!
|Good Luck. CM.|
|i shall have to look at whats available - thanks|
|no its just a dealing account|
|I also think someone should advise TOBYSAM on this:
5 Jul'12 - 15:49 - 5443 of 5454
B1ggles I have no idea where you get £5-£15 dealing charges from
I just sold CW 2 weeks ago 40,640 Shares and the dealing costs were £329.91 that equates to .08 of a penny or 1.77% dealing costs
The real dealing cost (assuming 38p sell price) is 5%.
|Maybe TOBYSAM's ISA account includes investment advice and is not purely a trading account? Hence the criminally high charges.
|I use Barclay's for their honest approach to business!!|
|I use Fastrade. You couldn't find a better more efficient broker.|
|So the Bullitin board hopefully proves useful today. This is what its for|
|7775 vod @ 1.81 = £14703
stamp duty 0.5% = £70.36
charges (say) = £12
total charge £82.36.
toby you are paying far too much if you have a nominee a/c.
over a few years, if you are an active trader, it will cost you thousands.|
|Most dealers charge in the region of £10 (many less) per deal - obviously your VOD purchase would carry stamp duty and more obviously this is not payable on a sale!
Hargreaves Lansdown are typical of what is available nowadays.|
|for instance i just purchased 7775 vodafone and the charge was £236|
|ok you guys my broker is "Harris Allday" are you also saying that the charges are only £15 should i want to buy shares as well as sell them - I should mention that they are in my ISA account??|
