17/4/2024 08:28 | I suppose this thread goes when the stock goes private - not obvious what to replace it. | takeiteasy
15/4/2024 22:07 | well that's it, vote for taking private confirmed. What are folks doing with their shares? I have some in an iweb ISA and will probably get them out as a share certificate. I also have some in a HL SIPP which I may leave there for now but move them eventually to a SIPP provider that deals with asset match. | davemac3
11/4/2024 06:43 | Our large holder here has another minnow biotech firm ETX where he has a significant stake and he is supporting their recent announcement to delist from AIM , although the carrot is put down that they aspire to a nasdaq listing in the future. Their market cap is now 70m. We would have a mile to go to get our cap up to the required levels but it shows these investors are a least aware of wider options to pursue etc etc.. dyor | takeiteasy
09/4/2024 13:02 | 9 April 2024 - C4X Discovery Holdings plc (AIM: C4XD), a pioneering Drug Discovery company, was informed on 8 April 2024 that Clive Dix, Executive Chairman of the Company, purchased 485,320 ordinary shares of 0.01 pence each ("Ordinary Shares") in the Company at a price of 10.3 pence per share. Following this purchase of shares, Clive Dix has a beneficial interest in 2,071,809 Ordinary Shares, representing approximately 0.82 per cent. of the Company's issued share capital. nice timing :) lols | takeiteasy
08/4/2024 14:15 | At around 10p to sell now, we are back to the prices a few days back when it seemed all the ISA holders all went out, ironically they might even have been better off to wait if this share price appreciation continues....so little time left for all the AJB SIPP holders to buy... dyor etc | takeiteasy
06/4/2024 21:37 | some companies don't issue share certificates either, Hargreaves Lansdown being one | davemac3
06/4/2024 17:24 | can only sell post LSE exit in SIPP, so would need to add more before we delist - trading via the assetmatch system - cannot buy at all once we delist. | takeiteasy
06/4/2024 15:36 | How will you add if you don't mind sharing to ensure uou eventually get share certificates | showme01
06/4/2024 14:43 | great show of confidence - his original involvement was one of the main reasons i came in here as his other biotech where he has very large holding has beenmanaged so well and been a great investment - I am 50/50 about adding at these prices ...not done so yet...dyor and no advice intended | takeiteasy
06/4/2024 07:21 | One of the big shareholders is buying more | davemac3
05/4/2024 15:29 | hxxps://assetmatch.c phew they will deal with them - happy days..but still means I only have the shares for 12 months | takeiteasy
05/4/2024 15:26 | I had better check the position of my SIPP over dealing with this firm... | takeiteasy
05/4/2024 15:23 | Just been in touch with HL and they don't deal with asset match, so whilst they would hold your shares in the SIPP, you would only be able to sell them if they relist or you transfer them to another SIPP provider that does deal with Asset Match (AM will provide a list on request). BTW Asset Match charge 3% fee per trade (minimum £20) edit - plus it says other fees may apply | davemac3
05/4/2024 12:53 | 9p bid, perhaps with the large seller cleared and all the smaller forced sellers mainly out now we can at least hope to recover to 13p where we were before the blockbuster results - at least provide some cheer before we depart the LSE with head held a little higher :) dyor etc I have placed my vote - let's see if they get to 75% lols... | takeiteasy
05/4/2024 08:09 | If you read the meeting notes from the firm, they say that there will be a definite dealing facility for 12 months and no guarantee afterwards. The attitude to small investors is next to appalling - why did they ever try to run this as a public company in the first place. I sincerely hope within that period someone else who can provide longer term funds and a business straetegy to turn this into a long term profitable business model steps in...I suspect our largest holder is a clever business man and he has some sort of plan in his head about where to take this business....fingers crossed as they say... The issue in holding these shares in the SIPP is at valuation points when you vest the SIPP as the provider needs to validate portfolio value for tax reasons as the PDF confirms - while we have the matched bargain facility there is a daily trail of dealt prices. After that it may get messy....so 12 months is my likely time horizon here one way or the other... dyor and no advice intended etc | takeiteasy
04/4/2024 20:29 | I think the situation is, they will be held in your SIPP after delisting but you will struggle to sell them and HL won't help. I will call HL to clarify but see this | davemac3
04/4/2024 19:18 | help me with HLare they saying they will nip in and sell behind your back if you do nothing and hold at a price they achieve ?i see them stopping new purchases of illiquid stock but selling at this level when they can be held - very odd | takeiteasy
04/4/2024 15:22 | who is your SIPP with? Some may find this useful, it lists some SIPP providers that allow unlisted investments and their fees, unfortunately my provider (HL) is not one of them. | davemac3
04/4/2024 14:19 | I can hold them in my SIPP...thank goodness...subject to a number of issues over valuations charges and dealing costs... | takeiteasy
04/4/2024 13:56 | It appears that unlisted shares cannot be held in a SIPP or ISA which means if you want to keep them, you will need to get them in certificate form and this will probably incur a charge - seems unfair. I have asked asset match for a list of brokers that use their platform. Because of the hassle, I will vote against delisting. | davemac3
04/4/2024 11:02 | Nigelpm, I will also write to the firm with my thoughts over the weekend... | takeiteasy
04/4/2024 11:01 | How is anyone voting ? Some coincidence but if you add up all these large sells it just about comes to the holding of the one ITs investing here - so if them (assumption I know), they are massively losing out here too ? Not just PIs.... | takeiteasy
04/4/2024 10:51 | I thought this was the best spread bet ever. It was just lucky my financial situation was not strong at the time and I lost 3 grand which was a lot less than it could of been. | luckyabbeygale
04/4/2024 10:48 | Has anyone spoken to the company - I'm going to give them a call and offer my thoughts. | nigelpm |
