I'd be a little miffed if I'd bought in at £7 but at these levels with the prospect of consolidation I see only a limited downside.
The dividend will certainly go but I would need to know whether the Fedex contract actually contributes to the bottom line before investing.
Not a clear picture but then that would be too easy.

FDX want quality not cheapness, no good getting a cheap price if the service is not upto expectations.

Would have thought the recent profit warnings will play into Fedex's hands when it comes to renegotiation, rather than BPG.

A foreign buyer? Not at these levels.

At least most of the bad news is out in the open now. FedEx contract will be renewed.

A foreign buyer could be interested in BPG, given access to UK Mail market.

you still cant hide from the current earnings though. theyve halfed.
It has to make you wonder whether they are being squeezed out the picture.

I still think consolidation in the postal sector will start now tha market has opened up.Even if BPG isn't the first to be taken over it will certainly be on a list of potential targets. Its network has a lot more value to a competitor than its share price suggests.Imagine all the sales and admin costs that could be stripped out.

Does anyone know how significant the FedEx contract is to the overall business?
In other words, if BPG lost the FedEx contract, how big a loss would this be to BPG?
