15/11/2005 12:54 | I'll go for 228p on fundamentals. | scumdog
15/11/2005 11:03 | Still looks well over-priced. A reasonable valuation is 200p so the current price includes a bid premium, in my view. | long and short
15/11/2005 09:42 | and a dividend in a couple of weeks. yum! | frances2
15/11/2005 09:26 | Still waiting to buy - yesterday's dust hasn't settled yet. Q | quidzinn
15/11/2005 08:05 | Well as predicted..........N Hope the ride to £4 is an easy one before any bid | elsworth
15/11/2005 08:03 | You know they've overdone the drop, when you can't pick up even 5k shares!! Well as long as a few k is available, until someone sees some value.....then a bid......who knows | elsworth
14/11/2005 18:27 | with a 6%+ dividend and an obvious chance of being a takeover target this is a great share where money can be made imo | meshiey
14/11/2005 16:59 | Market always go ott.....hence the tree shake brings out the sellers, and bargain hunters will be snapping these up!! It was only a matter of days ago with possible bid rumours circulating the city/press, naming possible bidders.....this is nothing more then a buying opportunity that presents itself occassionally from stock to stock. Its just a matter of picking them and waiting, cos the news/rumours will still be doing the rounds. It could easily fetch £5.50/£6 per share............int | elsworth
14/11/2005 16:30 | Right. I'm on board for a probable bounce with a Dec spreadbet at 312.3. Won 't hold it for long though, given the flatline close & the big boyz disregard of this today ... either it bounces tomorrow or it doesn't ... if the latter then this will go comatose. | stoic warrior
14/11/2005 16:10 | There is something very strange going on here. Why declare the results one day ahead of time? After all, the parcel situation is more or less in line with what was expected; the dividend has been maintained; the home postal service continues to do well. So why the big price drop? It is tempting to go in at these levels and buy more, but will wait and watch until I better understand the reasons for this reaction from the market. | horsemike
14/11/2005 16:07 | Q - I'd buy before close tonight for a wee bounce ... mm's mark up before the open ... | stoic warrior
14/11/2005 16:06 | Buy in tomorrow morning for the bounce Q | quidzinn
14/11/2005 16:03 | Considering the newest profit warning (again) today, this is a better thread to bring to the fore than that other one in use today titled "Rising Again ...". I do not own this but it is now on my radar screen, but not for its fundamentals, still ... So, any reasoned discussion here, or just wishful thinking? | stoic warrior
14/11/2005 15:41 | Buy in tomorrow morning for the bounce Q | quidzinn
14/11/2005 15:37 | have found out from tdw, current market forecast is for c.23.5 p eps this year -statement says to be 20% below current market estimates so c.19p putting the share on around 17x. do others agree? arguably next years broker forecast (which was around 28p) is the more interesting number though. | its the oxman
14/11/2005 15:09 | Watching these now. 280p i could be interested. | domtheone
14/11/2005 14:57 | what are the new eps numbers anyone? | its the oxman
14/11/2005 14:53 | buying these heavily now.......a no brainer imho | ydderf
14/11/2005 13:23 | another O2. buy, sit and wait for bid to arrive cos it will! | meshiey
14/11/2005 11:08 | Yes agree, bid should be coming.......what an excellent opportunity to top up....Fedex, come get us!! Could see it close way above this level.....RPT was over dropped today, and is off its lows | elsworth
14/11/2005 10:51 | Bid likely imvho | saltedcrab
14/11/2005 08:48 | Maybe i was right after all... | utsushi
04/11/2005 01:12 | ADVFN market update: "On the second line, Business Post topped the risers, with a leap of 35 pence to 400 amid vague bid speculation. Mike, I could not resist taking a (£1000) one-day profit at 402.5 but afterwards regret my decision and could not resist buying back again at 400. So I am still in and I am confident there is more to come at least until the results day. | nabeel4975 |
