Busvheld Vametco has secured funding support for the balance of the acquisition comprising debt and mezannine debt instruments in respect of which it has signed term sheets.  Bushveld Vametco is in advanced stages of negotiating definitive legal agreements.

Yep, relates to price movements in the electronic order-book.

"...A price monitoring extension is activated when the matching process would have otherwise resulted in an execution price that is a pre-determined percentage above or below the price of the most recent automated execution today..."

I've just looked at the deal closely. There certainly will be dilution involved. Not liking it much.

Anyone baffled by Mezzanine debt instruments? See link below.
So yes, there will be an equity component, just not direct...

Gotta be a first for FM, putting out a timely RNS
to defend a sinking share price...

BMR market cap £15m.
BMN market cap £20m.

Comparing vanadium (roughly).
BMR 45,000 tonnes.
BMN 1,000,000 tonnes plus Brits, plus Vametco.

BMR By-product.
BMN primary producer of vanadium.

No comparison!

BW filtered.

Hi, Everybody!
Here's why I sold out my stake here after yesterday's RNS:
1. There is a real and present danger of South Africa turning into Zimbabwe, and yesterday's shenanigans about Black Empowerment brought it home to me. (See Mining Weekly passim for further details - Black Empowerment is of course just code for money for ANC bureaucrats).
2. Though I am a firm believer in vanadium demand growing in the next few years as vanadium flow redox batteries are widely adopted, readers might want to ask themselves why Evraz are selling Vametco now. Also, they might want to take a look at Largo Resources on the Toronto Sotick Exchange. It's the world's only current vanadium only miner, and it is in dire financial straits.
3. My money has gone to Berkeley Mineral Resources (BMR), which is currently building a plant to reprocess the tailings from the giant old Kabwe mine in Zambia. They have over 2.5 bn worth of metal in those tailings, including 1 bn of Vanadium (i.e. as much as BMN). It's very cheap for them to extract this (nothing to mine). And they currently have a tiny market cap - i.e. lots of room for the stock to grow. For my money, it's a far better prospect.
