Seems a bit of a strange statement from Peter. (for the benefit of all shareholders?) I thought we'd all (shareholders) been screwed by Norton.

Bullabulling Chairman, Mr Peter Mansell, said "I welcome Dr Chen and Dr White to the board and look forward working with them as the Company moves the Bullabulling Gold Project towards production for the benefit of all shareholders. On behalf of the board and Shareholders of Bullabulling, I would also like to thank Mr Lambert for what he has achieved for Bullabulling during his tenure. Despite very significant external headwinds, Brett has done all that we could have asked of him. The professionalism of Brett's team in taking the Bullabulling mine from a difficult and early exploration project to what now looks like a viable development project of a large scale gold mine is commendable. But for the changed corporate circumstances and his diminished role, Brett would certainly not have been leaving the company now."

For all those using HSBC InvestDirect I have just received a call from them to confirm that they have sorted out their previously erroneous interpretation and all will be settled at 8 cents.

My holding became untradable today. I'd also like to know when I'll have cash in my account. I'll be over the moon if it was this month but my guess is it will be some time in Aug.

Does this extension affect when we'll actually get the cash for our BGL shares - anyone know?

Hear hear. Brett lambert et al - hang your heads in shame for doing nothing more than babysitting a fantastic opportunity, only to be caught napping with your pants down when mr & Mrs Norton came home.

One can only admire NGF for taking control of this valuable asset for some £15 million.

But will this be a wake-up call for other companies in this sector/segment?

I doubt it.

Aim was recently rightly described on another BB as a 'train wreck'.

Midas - bit risky though? Couldn't they delist from Asx too thus diluting shareholders who hung on to nothing?

Although the AIM shares will be cancelled, they will be transferred to the Asx register. So do not be bullied by NGF if you wish to retain a holding.

Just announced on the ASX:
Norton secures controlling stake in Bullabulling - (50.95%), with automatic 14 day extension.

o.k - lost on this one, but with the proceeds, anyone like to recommend the next gold miner to hopefully recoup?

Assume they'll reach 50% by Monday. Today is the last day to accept the offer- I guess the brokers will collate all their clients info and present at once to Norton.

I reckon they'll have 58% by COP Monday.

at 50.1% they cast majority votes so basically the company does what they want it to...de-list, or whatever...
