04/12/2009 16:06 | Yep IC tip usually the kiss of death. Have not seen it yet | beaufort1
04/12/2009 15:40 | Yes. Apparently it got a 'buy' tip from Investors Chronicle when reporting the interims. I don't have much respect for IC but if anyone has the tip, perhaps they could post it. | jeffian
04/12/2009 15:30 | Nice to see the share price bounce back up | beaufort1
01/12/2009 11:42 | Sold mine first thing. Results were okay but they seem to be plateauing. Vianet losses will be greater in H2 while installations (Greene King apart) also seem to be levelling off. Cash generation less good than I'd hoped and then there's the uncertainty over a bid for UNG. IMHO forecasts are likely to be lowered. I had a 50% profit so not too bad. Good luck with it. | wjccghcc
01/12/2009 11:08 | Not sure what they didn't like about the interims. Headline profits are bound to be impacted short term while they integrate formerly loss-making acquisitions but underlying earnings and trend looks OK. | jeffian
29/10/2009 13:37 | Hooray! There is life on Planet BRU! | jeffian
29/10/2009 13:03 | Still holding mine. avge price 92p. | wjccghcc
29/10/2009 12:39 | Any other BRU holders out there? Surprised there's been no comment on the strength of recovery since the lows of April. The OFT decision not to enquire further into the beer 'tie' has lifted an element of uncertainty and today's contract with Greene King is a vote of confidence from one of the largest regional/national brewers. At around 10x 2008 eps with a 4% div yield and good growth prospects, it's not an expensive share IMHO. | jeffian
21/10/2009 09:28 | Nice trading update today. Talk of 'global' leadership may be a bit of bombast - "Both Edensure and Vianet have leading globally scalable products and operate in markets with no dominant competitor. The Board is confident that there are opportunities to achieve market leadership in both these sectors..." - but the promise of progressive dividends from good cashflow looks more immediately achievable! | jeffian
15/9/2009 15:30 | We don't want to overpay, do we? Last acquisition was off the administrators...... 8-) | jeffian
15/9/2009 14:26 | UNG up on RNS re share price & preliminary approach not representing the true value of the Company. Come on Brulines, get your cheque book out! | bobby.ifa
14/9/2009 17:09 | It's that cheap they could have the lot for 6million & get the Card business for free. | bobby.ifa
14/9/2009 14:59 | I doubt BRU would be interested in the whole company. More likely to use their shareholding as leverage to force the disposal of the petrol forecourt division. | wjccghcc
14/9/2009 13:49 | Probably. This from last AR - "In October 2008, the Group announced that it had purchased the entire share capital of Edensure Limited ('Edensure'), a company which provides intelligent forecourt solutions for the petrol forecourt market. The Board believes that this acquisition is a good strategic fit and the Group's data management capabilities will provide Edensure with the platform to grow in this adjacent market......... .............The Group's strategic intent is to profitably extend its data handling penetration and footprint in the leisure, vending and petrol forecourt sectors, where we believe there are considerable synergies given the Group's technical and operational expertise in data management and monitoring systems." | jeffian
14/9/2009 08:34 | More expansion plans? UNiverse shares of Ray Mackie gobbled up by Brulines. As a shareholder in sleepy Universe I sense a bit of activity. Anyone in Brulines care to add? | bobby.ifa
09/7/2009 11:18 | yes bought a few | felix99
09/7/2009 07:30 | Very nice update this morning. | sheik yerbouti
19/6/2009 06:58 | According to Citywire press round up, BRU has been tipped in the IC today. | sheik yerbouti
18/6/2009 21:28 | Drop a little bit more please - 85p would be nice... | stegrego
18/6/2009 12:59 | No, although 3.8p of the drop was due to them going xd yesterday. | sheik yerbouti
18/6/2009 12:52 | Not moving up as expected - doh! | scumdog
13/6/2009 14:05 | Market capitalisation is £29m. ADVFN look to have the no. of shares issued wrong at 24m. Company website states 28m. Always check the information on ADVFN!! Still gives room for a 25% increase in the share price IMO. | scumdog
13/6/2009 13:34 | This ticks a lot of boxes - increasing recurring revenues, increase in dividend, balance sheet not weighed down by debt, current share price below placing price of 125p in December 08, £4m pre-tax profit with a market value of £25m, share price on an upward trend ... Quoted share price spread of 4p not brilliant but to be expected for this type of AIM company. Anyway, looks as though one can trade within the spread. Can see this getting back to 130-140p over the next 6 months or so. | scumdog
09/6/2009 07:03 | Nice results and dividend. 79% recurring revenues, they sound confident of further growth so maybe brokers will upgrade forecasts. | sheik yerbouti
07/5/2009 13:57 | A bit of volume today - trade for 240k gone through. | sheik yerbouti |
