|cerrito: Anyone have any vibs on yesterday's RNS..the market has none, given lack of response in share price and low volume
Nothing really new but these developments need cash and I am still asking myself why they do not use the cash they raised to fund this and new lines rather than getting distracted in new acquisitions|
|diogenesj: Illusions of grandeur, I think, jak. Don't think anyone has noticed any speculation in the Press, which is largely unaware of Business Serve. The company itself said at the time of the results that it was interested in acquisitions, and it is now using this form of words to introduce a warning of an impending rights issue or open offer, which probably explains the recent share price weakness.|
|ricjohnson: Share price has gone the right way but I host with them and they are lousy. Currently suspended one domain I have paid for. I am definitelly changing hosts.|
|hybrasil: Todayd announcment is yet another positive step for this company. The 'confident of meeting expectations' bit should give the share price a bit of a filip. In fact I might even buy some more.
Even as they only start putting up their prices the mms have marked their prices up by 2p. This could have a stellar day|
|jakleeds: I bought some myself, hybrasil. Yes, voip could be massive, but as well as that brv is on a forward per of only 10, so the potential for share price growth is huge.
|bre75474: They are certainly doing a lot, not surprisingly the share price isn't though. I have said it before these guys really know how to change spots, what will they be doing next week? My guess is selling Xmas trees from the empty space they have in there Manchester data centre!!|
|448858tq: Just checked BRV price and its down 5.5 pts, certainly a steady decline|
Thats an understatement! :-)
Hopefully, restructuring combined with the FD moving up to MD will help to stem the losses and bring some stability. I'm not anticipating much at the interims, but having chatted to the company I believe that the emphasis will be on rebuilding some confidence in the business and their ability to see more than a week ahead!
A recent note from Teathers puts gearing at 15%, EV/EBITDA of 5.3x and EV/Sales of 0.2x They forecast £400K for 2005, or eps 1.0
Net Assests on the results were given at £5.7m - market Cap now £2.8m
They paid a 0.5p divi a year ago - that is 7% based on todays share price. Not expecting much from these until a year from now when I hope that the change in management is delivering a turnaround both in confidence and performance. They have already stated that the year will be back-weighted.
I still believe that - perhaps years down the line - environmental tightening contained in the European Water Framework Directive will lead to widespread adoption of kit such as the Clereflo MBR in order to comply with discharge regulations of local authorities......
Not exactly a Hydro - don't have the same exposure to Water PLC, but I expect them to perform given time.
