No one seems to post any more. Am I the last share holder???

Has anyone a better brain than I. If so please would you work out the worth of Brightview.

The cash they received from BT and their DM shares - dept = price per share. I think!!!

£15.8m + £375,000 + £840,000 - £5.3m = £11.7m/44.8m shares in issue = a price per share of 26.1p

If the cash is held in a high interest bearing account for a year at 5.5% = a price per share of 27.6p when the directors decide to give us our money back.

Goggin - price will go down from here don't you think?

I hope your new thread manages to throw some light on what is going on here.
Have had some rather peculiar trading this week.
On thursday Aug 11 the closing price was down at 54/57 with the mid price going from 60 to 56; however the 2 transactions that took place were at higher prices- a broker to broker at 59- and another at 58 for1,600 shares(ie less than £1k)
On Friday Aug 12 we had 12k of volume-one a 10k sale of 55 but price remained the same at 54/57
Amount traded has not been great...

BRV extremely active and aggresive in the telecoms M&A marketplace at the moment - would expect a couple to be announced in the next few months to expand the prodcut portfolio and technology capability.

Anyone have any vibs on yesterday's RNS..the market has none, given lack of response in share price and low volume
Nothing really new but these developments need cash and I am still asking myself why they do not use the cash they raised to fund this and new lines rather than getting distracted in new acquisitions

Illusions of grandeur, I think, jak. Don't think anyone has noticed any speculation in the Press, which is largely unaware of Business Serve. The company itself said at the time of the results that it was interested in acquisitions, and it is now using this form of words to introduce a warning of an impending rights issue or open offer, which probably explains the recent share price weakness.

Share price has gone the right way but I host with them and they are lousy. Currently suspended one domain I have paid for. I am definitelly changing hosts.

Todayd announcment is yet another positive step for this company. The 'confident of meeting expectations' bit should give the share price a bit of a filip. In fact I might even buy some more.
EDIT 7.35
Even as they only start putting up their prices the mms have marked their prices up by 2p. This could have a stellar day

I bought some myself, hybrasil. Yes, voip could be massive, but as well as that brv is on a forward per of only 10, so the potential for share price growth is huge.

Good luck
