Yep, I'd say so...they certainly got an influx of networks around the time we see the surge on Alexa...unfortunately they were probably the types of network who don't want to pay - the hope (i guess) is that we convert them to premium along the line

expected fundraiser paper just arrived. sorry not too well played from my point of view but not Vickram's who increases his holdings and grip, with Livingstone adding, but Dominic and other execs forced into a small dilution.

Commercially, I am pleased with progress, and happy to have a relatively safe, more mature investment. and so I bought today in the market to keep with my percentage at 20% discount to placing price. crazy really

..the only graph that ultimately matters is the share price graph...

The Alexa graph is interesting - is that as a result of the free trial?

The Penny just dropped or we dropped to a penny. either way, we probably can't have an update because it feels certain they will need to raise money.

well, unlike a lot of previous large one day drops, not many shres were traded...slight positive. Youd like to think that they wouldnt go much lower as im sure there a few with some dry powder for such occurrences.

I think prefunding, so long as they play hands too close to chest. Next funding round should be the last pre B/E and so you may need to pay 2+ Anyway as I always say to fellow pros, DYOR, as mine is macro.

Think you could be right there, norbus - would the opportunity be best pre-funding or post-funding, though?

Perhaps when they announce funding they might release some shares with the market makers to provide liquidity?

looks as if I might be able to average sub 1 p , pre the funding round.

excellent way for Dominic to unfold the case for SocGo; well thought out, and not an opportunistic reaction to todays news. He expounded this two months ago I am beginning to appreciate depth and singleminded approach to the delivery .
sure builds up my confidence.

I'm pretty sure you are right on that. I have been following and was ready to buy later this week, but not so keen now that the news is out. Plus, my reluctancy to invest too much more until the CGT uncertainty is resolved

Will keep my eye on it for now...

My hunch is that long-term, someone else will win the H2 race, but in the mid-term there will be decent money to be made for shareholders. They are a likely take-over target for a larger player, imo

I really think you ought to dip your toe into the H2 situation. should grow very big giving you profit, fun and keep you in touch with things green. Poor GMC is not far of the mortuary slab.

At some stage we will get an announcement - trading update and fund-raising combined all in one seems to be their favorite.

Meanwhile, looks like another month is passing with no placing, which I take to be good news unless (as you pointed out the possibility of), they have taken a bank loan.

Mind you, that would be good news too, imo

I agree, dilution doesn't seem to be something they are clued-up about, or bothered about. The focus on the funding issues and the shareholder value aspect of things is clear as mud

On the one hand, if they issue themselves more shares at the 1.25p level, it shows confidence in the business and it usually means an opportunity for us to top up at similar levels (if we wish to). But, on the other hand, wouldn't it be better to issue shares to institutions as 4p?

It's a shame, as the business model seems to be progressing well with increasing revenues month on month, despite the fact that V1 seems to be suffering a little as they concentrate the troops on V2.

Obviously, the share price has not been helped by the uncertainty relating to both BGT's finances and the economy.

Socialgo Poll - 25 participants so far so hardly much interest.
