Starting to look very soggy - The IT disaster has not helped but the "wealth managment" game is becoming more competitive (imo) and some significant players seem to me to be offering better services at more comptitive prices.

Before making any sell/buy decisions will need to see next update of FUM and margins -

Other thoughts ?

Yes sold out a while ago myself and a bit concerned about next results/newsflow. Will stay on sidelines for now as if had to guess, it may drift slightly lower before results.

Management wasting substantial sums of money on IT that doesn't work. Now saying what they have can be upgraded. Not a useful development and it's certainly not getting 5 stars for the company's own wealth management capabilities. Whilst not a disaster it has taken the gloss of this story for a whole.

.... and so much more to come in 2014. I beleave there as been eight new companys to the market already this year and other joining the que weekly leading up the the Mega issue of Lloyds. As confidence recovers further and the papers start to highlight the gains, IMO the trades volume will rise a lot further.

Added today 297p. Reckon this could get close to 500p over next two years if markets keep moving higher and current forecasts pan out. Div set to move up significantly as well.

the director sales were options and whilst reasonable in size they still have a holding so not too concerned. Probably needed the cash for xmas presents;-)

Two directors sold 60,000 and 50,000 shares on 4th Dec

Since then Questor write up positive so I will dip my toe in.

Bought in recently after the breakout just above 290p. Reasoning:

Equities will continue to rise so AUM will rise, particularly with their growth in higher net worth clients. More AUM means more commission so i expect their profits to rise and consequently eps.

The change in LTA limits at April 2014 will result in increase in high net worth clients seeking pensions advice. I know Mrs W is already.

Future dividend distribution looks nailed on to give shareholders greater share of the profits.

Will top up on drops to the 21 day EMA

I hold (as of 2pm today). they should do well. risk shareprices = more fees and help fund flows in.

I do not hold BRW but you should get some indication of how things are for the Brokers when Jarvis issue their 4th Q Divi declaration before 14 Nov (next Thurs). Last divi was 3.5p per share, it should be higher this time to reflect a bumper summer.

Hopefully they will give us a wee trading up-date also.

Sold out 281p, a week or so ago. Bought half my holding back today 263p. Does no one else trade/hold this share. All very quiet.

All quiet here with share price stuck around 270p. Waiting for next leg up to 300p
