Fundraising, I think. They need a couple of mil - at least it means they are not going belly-up! People close to the company still v. enthusiastic - why I don't know. But definitely worth a punt if they have a tenth of the diamonds they reckon they do.

What with so many huge disappointments in the past I feel that any news will have to be of a significantly substantive and proven nature which "guarantees" revenue in the near future, in order that the share price continues to rise..and that rise can be sustained. From memory they said they had enough cash to see them through to the year-end. The last 2-3 fundraisers were on AIM...in the first, which was 3-4 years ago, the share price was pumped up to 90cts (from about 25cts), whereby shares were issued in London @ circa 35pps. Since that time its virtually been a painfully slow one-way street down to the recent lows of 8pps. Having said all that, most of the ensuing RNS has been upbeat, so hopefully there's an outside chance that they may actually have something of value, especially in the light of yesterdays share price performance. The TSX is notorious for share manipulation..especially when it comes to junior miners (I think we all remember Bre-x which killed the market, not to mention the independant assayer!). Good luck to all BDY holders...we bloody well need it !!

It had the second highest trading volume on the TSX yesterday. Just goes to show how this one has been watched. The posters over on Stockboards know as little as we do. One of them tried calling the company and got no reply.

My hunch is that good news of some kind is in the offing and it will be announced on Monday. Was not Brazilian trying to arrange a dredging operation that was to be carried out and funded by another Brazilian company and that the decision date for doing this was about now? (This would negate the need to have fundraising.) The Brazilian court may have made a judgement on boundries or there may be a wondrous discovery of diamonds on one or more of their sites. Having said all that I somehow doubt that there will be a fundraising without some very positive news.

Lots of explorer companies are like this... the shares are in a permanent downtrend up to the point where major news appears, then they leap skywards. :)

Of course, some of them don't achieve the "leap skywards" bit. :(

I am standing under the money tree and it looks like some is about to fall off, so I may get some BDY soon.

What a fantastic follow-through !!!...we could well be at 5pps next week at this rate. Perhaps if they issued a negative RNS somebody would feel sorry for them, buy some shares and push the price up.

Been watching for a long time, I really cant see this going much lower
