The fall on the most recent set of news is far smaller than the fall in June. The June low may proove to have been the bottom IMHO.

Looks totally flat to me. Market is waiting for more news about raising of finance and that is not due yet. Been stuck at 85-90 since the warning.

Useful analysis from Paul Scott at Stockopedia (whose blog I enjoy for it's common sense and lack of jargon):http://www.stockopedia.com/content/small-cap-value-report-7-oct-2016-shoe-bram-xpp-ekf-call-153548/You may need to register for a full read but bottom line is he thinks BRAM is too risky and if investec pull the rights issue, it could be busto.Certainly looks precarious and I cannot see why it's up in the high 80's right now with the risk and high debt on show.

cellars, unfortunately as mere PI's, we are not privy to the full report by PH (unless one is a client) so the basis for the target price of 60p is not known to me. However, given that the summary implies they have simply downgraded like for like from 110p to 60p, I have to assume (reasonably) that the nil paid element is factored in also for an overall valuation. Like I say, without the meat on the bones of the report, I am blind to PH's thinking,

I note the price after the initial mark down has settled firmly at 87p area. In practice, most shares decline for a few days after a major warning before stabilising and bouncing (until the next hard message!) so I do expect the price to slide back toward the 60p point which has twice been a support following previous difficulties.

Could the 60p Tp be blended post rights? 1 share @ 89p (current) plus 2 for 1 @ 40p (say) gives blended price 56p. FWIW my TP end FY-17 is 70p plus a divi of 1~1.5p.

"Broker Forecast - Peel Hunt issues a broker note on Brammer PLC

BFN

Peel Hunt today reaffirms its hold investment rating on Brammer PLC (LON:BRAM) and cut its price target to 60p (from 110p).

Story provided by StockMarketWire.com"

I ask myself why anyone would "Hold" when the target price is 60p??

Interesting.
Rights issue needed.
I think that statement is to talk the price down since the institutions need the rights price to be cheap.
No mention of the £ movement which is ongoing.

On reading between the lines of the commentary, I would say that the cash raising was a necessity. Alternative administration.
Just MHO.

100 Million equity raise is a hell of a dilution on current market cap.
Given the relatively low drops in sales etc it is clear that the business is highly operationally geared which does not bode well for the next few years as brexit will undoubtedly create more uncertainty.
Clearly the new CEO is "kitchen sinking" the bad news and taking the opportunity to raise cash to give himself the best run possible over the next few years but that will mean real pain for a while.
