16/3/2017 12:07 | I've worked in the market research industry for 25 years and I think video based research is going to be absolutely huge. It has the potential to provide qualitative insights on a quantitative scale and that is game-changing in a market that is moving away from a survey-based approach. Plus qualitative insights from video will be a natural compliment to the automated data collected which is where this market is going. While Big Sofa isn't the only player they do have a good start and if you aren't sure of this market and what it's all about then look at this other tiny player (Living Lens) that has just secured £1.3m of funding for its US expansion: hxxp://www.mrweb.com I'm in here because I believe in the market but at the moment I don't know enough about the company to be absolutely sure but I like what I hear so far. | stirfry13
16/3/2017 07:30 | It isn't a fraud. They've said how much the took in revenue last year and declared their year on year increasing losses for all to see. The market makers are the ones that determine the share price and they say the potential is worth the millions in market cap. It's grossly overvalued by them for some reason I can't fathom but it isn't a fraud. | gheebee

06/2/2017 18:54 | Isn't it great that BST have a tie up with a global market research company on a cyclical uptrend - or have I got that wrong? ATB | jpgt1
06/2/2017 17:37 | Big Sofa has just tied up with Ipsos in the US - partners not clients note. Anyway, here's an insider's guide to Ipsos US. Senior Leader (Current Employee) – USA – 20 July 2016 Through a combination of hubris, lack of vision, and total ineptitude, this once respected company is now the laughing stock of the industry. The culture is absolutely toxic and employee morale is at an all-time low. Virtually all of the good talent have jumped ship, or are in the process of doing so. Incompetents stay on, thanks to their connections, while great talents are let go. Look at the number of open head counts--there's a reason the company can't fill these roles! Clients are aware of this as well, which makes it even harder for Ipsos. The revolving door of management has created utter confusion among top clients. From "Game Changers," to "Connect," to "Madtech," to "BrandX," nobody is quite sure who is doing what. The only certainty is that the buffoons at the helm seem to think that success will be secured by bringing on more overpriced and incompetent cronies and goons. Think long and hard before accepting an offer here--it's a miserable, miserable place. Pros Free coffee Cons Highly politicized, toxic work environment. Inept management. | gheebee
