25/10/2016 13:37 | SA3, I think a company can instruct it's broker to buy shares in the market on their behalf and that lets the buybacks continue during a closed period, it is usually accompanied by a maximum price they are allowed to buy up to. I'm pretty sure in BLVN's case, they are calling the shots on when the buys occur, so they can't instruct buys during the closed period. Probably explains why HSBC's brokers are still buying during their closed period. A. | the argus |
