18/10/2016 16:21 | Word on the street is you have to tip everyone in Cameroon. The higher you go the more you tip. Perhaps KH is still tipping the bell boy! | targatarga
18/10/2016 13:10 | Looking at body language he knows he is out of a job. Hopefully CO are working with New Age and will announce something soon to end this fiasco. | gark
18/10/2016 12:41 | But would be an opportunity to get rid of the worst in each board and save costs. | cyan
18/10/2016 12:34 | Two bad management teams wouldn't add up to one good team on merger. | fireplace22
18/10/2016 12:14 | KH had better get his ar*e in gear to justify his $609k per year. A VOG merger is the way to go. | cyan
18/10/2016 11:54 | fireplace22 My thoughts exactly I think C.O. are working in concert with a third party. | slipanchor3
18/10/2016 11:51 | My question is; why do Bowleven make it difficult to find the full accounts with the directors remuneration in it. Their web site sucks. Must be that they are embarrassed by how much they are taking. | cyan
18/10/2016 11:47 | f_d Would depend on who with and at what price. | slipanchor3
18/10/2016 11:42 | I see Etinde being sold from under them by an investment bank to either of the other two participants or a new farmee and shareholders getting a cash pay off. 40p if were lucky. | fireplace22
18/10/2016 11:17 | Any views on the benefit of a merger? | fluffy_dog
18/10/2016 11:12 | Just read the October presentation. More of the same again, but KH can't keep going on and on about negotiations, consult Unless we are in a new paradigm (they say this every time there's a collapse in commoditiy prices),fuel prices will recover and selling off a part interest in the assets now, even for less than hoped for value, would generate more funds so that the company could obtain new and cheap opportunities, benefiting everyone ; even KH, whose remuneration package would not be impaired. Of course, doing nothing is great for him,no risk, but not for us, and did you see the staffing levels, equivalent to the proverbial fountain in reception, a sure sign of stupidity and impending disaster. Showing that in the video was a faut pas. Something major must happen very soon, or all shareholders here should put on the naughty step, including myself. | corrientes
18/10/2016 10:40 | jaguar Yes, I recall him making that statement don't know what his thinking was, he was obviously unaware that C.O. were about to start building a stake. What did you make of K.H.composure during the presentation, he looked a worried man to me. I think there is allot of critical negotiations taking place behind the scenes. | slipanchor3
18/10/2016 09:47 | Slip, he said he was selling at 23p, so hopefully it will cost him more to buy them back. | tli8jaguar
18/10/2016 09:29 | What really annoys me is that a certain HNW investor was hinting on Twitter that Momono was a no goer 4 Months ago. So the Institutions and the HNW investors were in possession of what I would class as price sensitive information, but it was withheld from the ordinary P.I.until the Video Presentation yesterday. It was only by luck that C.O.started buying around the same time or the share price would have been in the low teens. Of course, it is possible that it was all part of the same strategy. | slipanchor3
18/10/2016 08:06 | re the share buy back, not sure about the excuse of being in a closed period HSBC have some results out on the 7th November and they are continuing to buy their own stock. WJ. | w1ndjammer
18/10/2016 07:14 | The only proactive here has been the buy back which by accident or design was leaked and allowed insiders to benefit and the company the privilege of buying shares at a 20% premium. | fireplace22
17/10/2016 22:59 | F_D The more sophisticated!!! posters won't be back until they are ready to sell, that will be when C.O.make their position clear and or when the buyback re-commences. There is at least another 25-30% in the share price in the run-up to the AGM. AIMHO | slipanchor3
17/10/2016 22:43 | It seems nothing out there worth buying, with Etinde development cost down by as much as 40%, capex could be as low as $84 million from $140 million. We may not need to borrow any money. That's what KH meant by we already have a world class asset, we may as well invest in it, either in the way of share buyback or capex. | tli8jaguar
17/10/2016 22:11 | It's not KH fault that these obstacles have been put in his way, the culture ,the legalities, the snail pace through the various departments. How was he to know ,he has only been acquainted with Cameroon policies for ten years. We also have the Chief on the BOD being paid a small fortune to oil the wheels of progress through the various Government Departments. I have only been privy to him opening his mouth once, that was when he put his foot in it, during the Court Case with N.A. Excuses, Excuses, that's all we ever get while they continue to draw their fat cat salaries and bonuses. | slipanchor3
17/10/2016 20:17 | Perhaps the below list are the reason for the buyback. Shouldn't be too hard to outperform these....Chariot Oil & Gas LimitedCircle Oil plcEland Oil & Gas plcFalkland Oil & Gas LimitedGulfsands Petroleum plcIthaca Energy Inc.Madagascar Oil LimitedOphir Energy plcPetroceltic International plcRockhopper Exploration plcSavannah Petroleum plcSterling Energy plcTrinity Exploration & Production plcXcite Energy LimitedI smell a peasant revolt come December! 17/10/2016 17:32 | Hart reminds me of the bullish stance of the former management (Rhind and Heneaghan) who over promised and did not deliver. Hart says he is near the finishing line. If he isn't, Bowleven could well be bought out for its cash and Etinde potential. James/lecom, any thoughts where we go from here? | fluffy_dog
17/10/2016 17:23 | Have now watched the video. Nothing of any real substance. He seems to be trying very hard to secure the JV approval for Etinde to be in the 2017 budget. Bomono appears to be too small at present for EEA to be awarded. Acquisition etc.. he still has not found what he is looking for elsewhere. He wants to cut costs ("lean and mean"). Etinde is the prize worth waiting for. Bucketload of patience required. Kev can now take his jacket off, have a sigh of relief and pop downstairs to Starbucks for a coffee and cake. | fluffy_dog
17/10/2016 14:56 | depends what`s in the results depends if the buyback does recommence why would an exploration company buy its own stock was it something to do with the jockey club ooop`s WJ. | w1ndjammer |
