I wish I did know everything.
I am not sure the FOGL results are of no relevance to BOR. Why did BOR share price crash ?
I am glad you have faith in your CEOs judgement; after all he turned down a couple of offers , or so the story goes.
Where is that farmin you have been predicting .? pmsl

I thought you knew everything though ? . Our CEO said that Fogls result has no impact on Bor asset . I think he knows better than you . You never know , all the oil could be in borders block ? . At least we have a discovery 260mb and enough money to last a decade . I don't care how long it takes to be honest so it doesn't make any difference too me . I will still eat and have a comfortable life regardless (pmsl) .

Here's a tip for you so you can make some of it back , buy cnel quick . Take it or leave it ...your choice pmsl :)

Hi RTW.
Badly I am afraid. I would not laugh too much because the Humpback failure does not help BOR's prospects.
Not positive for either company.

Good morning barvin.
Imo there is no chance FOGL will bid for BOR.
As you say " The now skint FOGL"
They are not in a position to advance with BORs field. They do not have the cash to drill.
Not sure about Noble.
There's more than enough going on in the NFB and even they may baulk at the SFB''s costs with low POO.

I remain sceptical about BOR's view on the 2017 license issue.

Barvin: That argument makes a lot of sense, except the management on BOR hold a lot of shares and with the help of other long term investors they might well resist, which either way works in our favour.

Well, when this drilling campaign is over I really can see a FOGL takover of BOR.

The now skint FOGL would like its hands on our £10m, data and acreage - especially after so much cash has been splashed into Humpback and with the sniff of oil they had.

As they pour over the data, our huge data set of SFB will be invaluable. With the shares of FOGL at an all time low, we would get more more paper shares too. Keep an eye out for this in Q1 2016. Cannot totally rule out Noble as a predator either, why spend millions on a farm out deal payment when they can buy us for the same or less.

Fair comment I think.

The Company has today announced that the humpback well has been plugged and abandoned, and while this is disappointing, it's not terminal as the Company has been very specific is its use of language, which we believe is optimistic for the wider play.

The Company stated in its announcement that:

The well encountered non-commercial quantities of oil and gas within a number of sandstone intervals, including the main APX-200 target. All of the pre-drill targets were penetrated close to prognosis in the well.

The key element for us in this announcement is that they were non-commercial. Had they been shows or stains, then this would have been the language that would have been used. While that doesn't change the fact that it is not worth anything to the Company, what is does do is one up the remainder of the play, especially as for the first time oil has been observed.

While undoubtedly disappointing, we believe that this is definitely a technical success and continues to support, in our mind at least, the continued interest in the South Falklands Basin, especially that it is now proven that under the right conditions it could be oil prone. We will wait for the results of this programme to be reintegrated with the existing data sets, and a revised programme announced.

Remember FOGL are going to "Evaluate" the results.......could it be the opposite of desire and November the 22nd isn't that far away.........because this drop in favour relates to a nebulous connection: BOR's find and data room haven't changed a jot.

with a 20% DROP TODAY I'd say the complete opposite - less attractive today than at any time in its history - this is confirmed by the conspicuous absence of Mr pmsl, aye & Lol!

Hope so. Personally I don't think now is the time to sell.

Perhaps in a year or so if the oil price rises and the NFB is on the way to production, then these will be valuable again.
