By BOO Standards, this is a low volume day.
I would call the activity pre-results as cautious, thus why
the share price seems to stagnate.

albert3591 - It's only a remark and at present they are "flirting" with the share price despite a positive FTSE... So just let's wait and see what they are going to do with it ?

In any case we shall check the direction and values of both stocks at the end of the week. If BOO goes down, it'll be good news on results day. If it is inflated, it'll be the opposite. IQE now is flying while BOO is drowning ...

Toffeeman - I hope so. In any case it was just a remark because in many cases when a stock is close to the results as in here with BOO (27th), they drop the share price if they "smell" the results will be good - to buy it lower - . Then on the results day, the share price spikes up. If they "smell" the opposite, they take it higher and higher till the results - after opening huge shorts - leaving it to collapse. Again making loads of money in both ways. IMO for a long term IP, this is irrelevant and once one is convinced of the fundamentals of a company, just hold and be patient.

I noticed one thing form these analysts: They pumped and dumped IQE while pumping BOO , now they are returning to pump back IQE towards 150p - 160p and preparing to dump BOO towards 225p - 230p. They switch from one to the other making loads of money by deception. I may be wrong of course.

SharesMag in an editorial this week suggests taking profits or selling down consumer retail stocks due to consumer weakness. Names BOO and Sports Direct for no other reason than their share price growth has been high.

@seroserio Do you have any further details about the Peel Hunt note?
[Not having quite the effect that the Barclays one did (unsurprisingly) but I think this is doing well today given current market influences.]
