What do people find so hard to digest about 171p on April 4, 225p 3 months later? :0)

Qaz, I've learned over a number of years to ignore people suddenly appearing on a BB to give forth their wisdom which is of course, usually negative. Nowadays, I go on my own gut feeling and, touch wood, have been reasonably correct with BOO. At least this way, I can't blame anyone else if I get it wrong.

Hi Guys, what you are seeing is a consistent stock overhang situation, the institutions or individuals that bought @ 2.2 in the placing are getting a quick profit. Once overhang clears expect it to start to move up again towards a trading statement mid August. The 1st half figures will almost be the same as LY full year figures, give or take 20-30 million. If the stock price does not move by the end year, the PE will under 50 , which won't happen so I would start to think about topping up as the selling price decline will bottom out soon. DYOR.

I posted a few days ago that chartists, not an exact science I know, would be looking somewhere between 220/225. I totally agree Qaz that people do make pointless statements. I didn't think it would go down quite as far as 220p but, it's now close enough so, for better or worse, I'm going to get a few more BOO before end of trading today.
The upside, imho, far out weighs the downside. Each to our own I guess. GLA

On what basis? We can all make pointless statements on where we think the price is going without anything to back them up.

PS I would suggest everyone looks at this posters incredibly suspicious posting history. Lots of comments deleted. Funny that.

Looks like we are destined to hit 220 here over next few days.

If there are more of that 50m bulk kicking around surely we will be going below it also..

There should be also a positive knock on if the imminent (few days) ASOS TU is very good.

Well, it looks to me like a healthy correction after a superb run. I top-sliced a few for CGT purposes on April 4, at 171p, so that just about sums it up. Eager shorters may yet send this down to 220p, but in the absence of bad news, 2 quid looks unlikely, though a rock-solid support. Here's to the next TU! :0)
