and so....the woofling/waffling, squabbling, continues. Congratulations Gentlemen. You have managed to mire yourselves down yet again. Are we REALLY reduced to a Columnist inviting a contributor to 'state his real name or go back to Mummy' Truly, this is becoming hilarious. What a pity that I couldnt goad trinoc into another outburst, just for the entertainment value.

You're a spineless fool, Foreigner.

If you had an ounce of realism about business and investment you would appreciate the dilemma of dealing with managers who insist on things being the case - which aren't - and how expectations are also dashed by events outside everyone's control, such is the nature of early stage companies.

I am told by the DTI that the company is not formally in receivership or even technically insolvent.

Obviously any wrong-doing is a serious matter. The chief executive's sacking for gross misconduct coincides with a very quick sale and an interim finance manager becoming MD of the 'new' entity.

I have never touted for any money, you are libelling me. I have however backed this company at various stages explaining the rationale why - also various risks. I am grown up enough to face reality of some failures in technology. If wrong-doing is involved then indeed, one endeavours to get to the root of it.

Now state your real name or go back to mummy.

I believe Edmonds average price was about 43p although i don't thnk he will wish to confirm this.He has taken a big hit on this one but i'm sure he is not on the poverty line as his tips on Dana Petroleum,BATM advanced tech,ARM/Acorn have been excellent.

I am all "woofled" out. I assume this is what dogs do is seems appropriate for this share.

Off to eat a nice jammy covered waffle.

Money has all been written off. Not way back for this one and although it stinks, you can't win them all.

Be interesting to know Edmunds loss on this one. Must be 5 figures.

Wake up. None of you are going to get any money back. Now, all youu have to rely on is consuming the pasta cold. REVENGE is the name of this game and RETRIBUTION its instrument. What IS all this nonsense about DTI investigations?
If you can arrange the demise of a person in the USA for $10k up, then rest assured that a similar sum will ensure you get what you want in the UK. Forget the AK47s - the professional you hire provides his own armament AND YOU NEVER NEED MEET HIM. ...BUT.....I'm sure I will post this again
In the meantime, you all continue woofling. Unfortunately there doesnt seem to have been a genuinely RICH person who was a Stockholder, otherwise these people would not, still, be walking the streets. Such 'removals' are arranged discretely AND SWIFTLY.

It is alledged there is a personal link between the witch Soffes husband and Blackburn the KDL MD. I also understand an overseas agent is searching for dodgy dealings in the way ATR assets were sold off. Apparently there was more than one potential buyer to start with. Was the best deal made? Is it just the receiver who makes the decision? It all happened very, very quickly. How is a DTI investigation started. Anyone know ? Can we put the agent and the DTI together ?

deehill - Do you know how ?

Foreigner, have to agree with you, people at the top have to carry the can for their action or in action.

However it looks as if this company has been badly managed by more than Channon.

What sickens me is the way not only shareholders have seemingly been misled but their redundant employees have to fight for their money.

Is it true that KDL have an association whith the new MD ??

I wonder what will happen at the DTI when all the ex employees stake their claims against this company.

Channon sacked for gross mis-conduct. Sorry but I have no sympathy. Would not surprise me to learn he had been stiched up. I reckon because they ballsed up the redundancy issues and the buyer KDL ended up having to pay off staff after all to avoid a court case. This ammount was considerably more than they paid for the assets. I expect that stuck in the craww of Soffe and others. Channon probably carried the can. Just my supposition though.

Deehill...please be assured it's in the British tradition to be set up..taken for a ride...and made a fool of! and we always assume the other guy has been totally fair....thats why we no longer have an empire!!!!!!!!!

There just have to be a couple of IRA 'gentlemen' prepared to administer what passes as justice in the UK. What puzzles me is that I read all the threads and boy do you guys make a lot of noisy bluster, but none of you is prepared to take any real action. All it takes is a cash payment and at least you would all sleep happier.

Not 'my paper', I have simply contributed a genuine investor's diary - which is why I can empathise with you!

Have written to the DTI this afternoon expressing my concerns how events appeared to happen too quickly, and cutely, with a deal wrapped up...and now we learn a director is dismissed for gross misconduct. What has the chairman uncovered and who else might be involved?

EJ you may not be an insider....but you have spent a fair amount of your papers time on this debacle....maybe you can now use your influence to persue it further...and while you are investigating matters please also mention SIP...this appears to be another case of daylight robbery!!!!!!!!!!!

The evidence was all there 9 months ago which is why I called for an EGM to scrutinise the books. I said then that they were "gangsters in suits".....but what is to be done? well those with more clout than I can take an injuncion out in court freezing assets....pending an investigation; of course a prima-facia case has to be made out but in this instance there is an excess rather than a shortage of information. And what price the Regulatory Authorities!!! Does a case of corruption have to jump out and bite them before they stir. A lot of honest people have been badly stung by this and those responsible should bbrought to account. Its up to people like yourself Edmond.....you know some of the story methinks!!

This is all looking very fishy.

Sudden unexpected cash demand coinciding with the chairman being away, and oh dear, administrators appointed. Company gets quickly snapped up and new owners proclaim its global reputation. Then this.
