23/1/2017 13:32 | Formatted for easier reading Stav... VANADIUM AT KABWE MINE: In the meantime the electrolytic zinc plant, under construction, came into operation in 1928, which was unique in the world for the production of electrolytic zinc from zinc silicate ores. Production rose from 9,732 tonnes in 1928 to 12,315 tonnes in 1929 and 18,194 tonnes in 1930 when the Mulungushi power plant was extended. Up to this time a certain amount of vanadium ore had been sorted to a high grade(*15%V205)and exported with flotation concentrates. A hydro metallurgical process for the recovery of a fused vanadic oxide from lower grade ores was developed by the mine staff and production began in 1931. From July,1931 to December,1932, zinc production had to be suspended because of low metal prices and operations on the property were carried by vanadium sales alone. Metal prices, remained depressed, but the Board of Directors agreed to restart zinc production at the beginning of 1933, again using ore from No.2 Kopje and oxide ore that had been produced from the concentrator and stockpiled during the years of lead production. With the help of vanadium sales, the mine managed to produce modest profits, but no dividend was paid after 1927 for many years. | markjwal
23/1/2017 13:01 | Stav - recall that Czech report now. I also posted something like the above some years ago. There was a significant amount of Vanadium in the prospect. Are you attending? | fireball xl5

23/1/2017 09:14 | So, the main asset of BMR is the above ground piles of spoil from the giant old Kabwe mine. On Friday the company issue an RNS which indicates that they can almost double their future revenues from working over those tailings, by adding a vanadium circuit at fairly minimal cost. This, presumably, triples (or more) the potential profitability of BMR's operation - even if the price of vanadium doesn't increase, which would be against everybody's expectations. And the share price doesn't move?!? I don't get it! | bookwormrobert
21/1/2017 15:59 | You know MOT's.....do the work and it's an obligation to issue one. Just a case of what work needs doing and who's doing it by when and at what cost LOLsss. | qsmeily456
21/1/2017 14:39 | Lol's lets hope we get the MOT. | fireball xl5
21/1/2017 14:12 | Balls At least the Vans in a decent workshop not some cowboys working on pimping our Van LOLSSS As for pronounced.....only when they've loaded will they hoare it all over town LOLsss | qsmeily456
21/1/2017 11:08 | Exactly my views Stav. I was too trusting in regulation. I believed I would be ring fencing my pension having lost 60% in a previous market crash and it being eroded with fees. It's not just aim, it's the way now or appears to be. All stems from those Yuppee days. Flog anything, especially financial products, make bucks. If their a pensioner, even fairer gain. Might have too cynical a view these days, leaving Europe and getting in a hard line, right facing government, hell bent on bringing back the golden years of self rule and pillaging of an empire. Hope we all don't suffer too much in the new age of serfdom, in a low value economy with little protection for the least fortunate. I'll get off my soap box, I find this new wave of self interest and abhorrent political gesturing very depressing. I'd be more aggrieved if I thought they knew what they are doing. It's just propelling division, fear and in some cases, hate. I really do hope we team up with the clean Kabwe team and leave a legacy of something worthwhile and sustainable. Any monies used in a corporate social program have to be carefully targeted to achieve the maximum benefit without being eroded whilst in flight. | fireball xl5
21/1/2017 10:52 | Let's not get carried away here chaps. The Vans still in the garage with no licence and not repaired. Shares rarely achieve brokers target prices but even I accept 0.7 of a penny old money is absolutely stupid. My take is these boys are loading up getting there options putting back on the table what they whipped off blaming MA in that transparent magic tricks we all watched and witnessed. I saw that, knew that, accepted that because I knew they would then be aligned to the share price ....and now I think we are almost at that place LOLsss As for share price balls with a PE of 6..... at this stage 10p with the licences 15p with the plant 20p with JORC and the rest 50p 2018/19 LOLsss | qsmeily456
21/1/2017 08:51 | QS When we know those same figures for Lead. Zinc, Silver, and Vanadium. And have at least 3 to 6 months actual processing figures to back them up, with cash accumulating at a consistent level,, then BMR will become a compelling investment. Too many PI's have been burnt and regretted the day that they decided to invest on aim, especially in the oil, gas and mining sectors since the heady days of 2010. It's not just incompetence, exaggeration, misreporting, lack of regulatory controls to ensure RNS information it's accurate. Greed and a careless use of others money, for misguided opulence and self enrichment has been rife. | stav5001
21/1/2017 02:53 | QS - our realistic mkt cap on commissioning, current commodity prices being maintained and dollar rate? There is probably upside in commodity prices and the way May is tanking the £ probably a good 10% there lol's. At a p/e of 7 to 8? Come on Q give us a clue. | fireball xl5
21/1/2017 02:42 | Just for you QS: WPT will produce 455 tonnes per annum during the first stage if resource and recovery estimates are correct. Looks to be more upside than down. So another $9.5m per annum less any v specific costs to improve quality of product. That's assuming $21kg. So even a 50% quality deduction is $4.75m. Top end, shall we say adds 4.3 pence to the eps year 1 at current shares in issue or 3.5 pence post warrants. It's just absurd. | fireball xl5
20/1/2017 21:01 | Wormy Robert What's the annual Van processing tonnage? Processing cost? and thus the monthly profit and who will take it in what format and is this what the warrants are partially for to pay for the plant LOLsss | qsmeily456
20/1/2017 19:59 | Very surprised the share price didn't rise by more today. Perhaps it will take some time for the full financial implications of today's RNS for BMR to sink in. | bookwormrobert
20/1/2017 18:17 | Back in the uk Sunday, looking forward to some interesting exchanges with BMRions! BMR, the art of Mining without mining! It comes as no surprise to me that we are slowly "rediscovering" our known assets, I predict more to come. From memory, here's just one small example, in one report There was up to 10% zinc in the first foot of soil all around the previous Kabwe processing plant, my understanding was that it was just contamination from years of processing. V was discarded, as were all the other rare earth minerals, cadmium and silver as to expensive to process, but for how long? I have always hoped that we may be sitting on another multi - mettalic pipe similar to the original Kabwe mine, it is not unusual for there to be more than one in this type of formation. FB Do you know the soil contamination report I am referring to, I think so. | stav5001
20/1/2017 16:57 | Its no JORC...the Vans left only 65% full and no tax or MOT LOLsss It won't be Offtaking without that licence LOLsss | qsmeily456
20/1/2017 15:20 | MMs are back to reporting trades correctly - but for how long?! | manni786 |
