Video interview with Tim Allen

Tim Allen, chief financial officer (CFO) of blur Group PLC (LON:BLUR) tells Proactive Investors that 2015 was “a year of big change for blur” as it transitioned away from using marketing tools on a project by project basis to an enterprise strategy.
The company said in its full-year results statement that it has now completed this transition meaning it takes on fewer but higher quality projects.
The change in focus from higher volume small business project sales to enterprise account-driven sales led to a 25% decline in project revenues in 2015 to US$1.95mln from US$2.59mln in 2014, but this was in line with management's expectations.
“We are now engaged with larger enterprises, talking to them about how to better eliminate the waste in their business services spend and while we’ve seen a reduction in production revenues we’ve made that transition and what we’re seeing through Q3 Q4 and Q1 consecutively are increases in the mix of enterprise business within our project base,” Allen says.

Only every single statement uses generic CEO speak.

I am becoming suspicious.

For instance, I'm pretty sure I've seen this several times before in other companies, with a few minor word changes:

"Our engagements with Enterprise customers tell us that business leaders are becoming increasingly aware of the need to prioritize the control of unnecessary cost and risk in their unmanaged, indirect business services spend. Increasingly these Enterprises are recognizing that blur's unique combination of cloud software and managed services offers an efficient, digital and agile solution to drive new efficiencies in indirect spend. The thing is, what would cause a big change? I don't see a radical change to cause it. It seems to me like another AIM failing and the prime concern is maintaining Bod's interests.
Then again I was to late to recover before the bottom fell out. I would have been better taking a 50% loss and selling - those were the days!
Sentimentalism and investing. What a god-dam toxic mix.

Only reason I can see this going up is a feeble attempt to raise more cash through a placing, and push the premium higher!

Should have asked him why the share price has plummeted and how his model is going to reverse it. The talk seems to be more of the same.
What another AIM disaster.

Don't they need to actually start making money for that to happen ?

Can't believe they're mentioning Trustpilot as some sort of indicator of customer satisfaction. Totally unreliable review platform that is wide open to manipulation because the reviews are unverified.

Business model takes 10% of the project fee when the project is listed and another 10% when it is completed to customers satisfaction. As to exactly how much they make - we would all like to know that! - but it appears that they are making good inroads on cost savings and that they may actually break even in the not too distant future! Blur don't tend to give too many (any??) numbers away in their announcements so we have to speculate!

In very simple terms can someone please explain how Blur actually makes money and how much? I just can't seem to get my head round the buisness model so any help much much appreciated. Thanks
