Even though this is such a low cap I am still very surprised at the lack of buying following these excellent results. Thought a few punters would have picked up on it especially as the share price had been dropping recently.
It looks as if it will be a long hard slog to get them noticed. Rivaldo you need to do a bit of advertising? People take notice of you.

I concur with your sentiments guys.

Think these will be a tasty morsel for a larger marketing concern at some point.

Yes; turned the corner now and into profit.

Some very good contracts made and the future looks exciting.

Cheap at this price considering growth prospects.

Excellent results today:

"Highlights
- Turnover up 45% to £4.4m (2006: £3.1m)
- Gross Profit up 73% to £1.8m (2006: £1.1m)
- Gross Margin % increased to 41% (2006 35%) as contribution from
higher margin brand and promotions increased significantly
- EBITDA up to £213,000 (2006: loss £41,000)
- Profit before tax up to £101,000 (2006: loss £65,000)
- Profit after tax up to £62,000 (2006: £21,000)"

But the results are even better than that as BTR unfortunately haven't adjusted for intangible amortisation and share-based expenses. These amount to £114,000.

Adjusted PBT is therefore £215,000, up from a loss of £34,000. Adjusted PAT is £176,000. Not bad for a £4m m/cap business with £300k of cash expanding internationally.

The Sports Marketing division spend might decline this season, though the extended Beckham contract could offset this, especially with his latest comeback.

Brand and Product Marketing turnover was however up 264%! This is evidently the growth driver. A similar increase this year would do the trick nicely....

I thought that I would wait a few days before I replied to your post. By spreading out the posts it makes it look like there is more interest in this board! However,I've concluded my approach just tends to make it look sad, doesn't it.
I bought into BTR about 2 years ago at 14.5p on my broker's recommendation. Clearly it has been up and down again since then. I added more recently so I have about a £10k investment now.
I am simply assuming that my investment will double over the medium term through continuing the reasonable progress they have made. The results may help to bring that timescale into the short term and may help define how big and how quickly BTR may grow. However, the company's progress is not very transparant between interims and finals, so friday is an important chance to communicate their story.
Their story is a key thing for me in terms of generating interest in the company. Their field of activity clearly indicates that BTR are capable of delivering key messages to target audiences, but their own story needs to be plausible and evidenced by results.
The results will no doubt show increased turnover, but they also need to begin to form a clear relationship between turnover and profitability. Only then will the undoubted massive size of their potential market begin to indicate how much value could be created, and in what timescale. That is what their target investment pundits and the rest of their audience need to know. BTR have made it very clear that they are not going to grow irresponsibly, so the pace of growth, turnover, profit, value and the timescale for all of that is going to be very straightline all else being equal. However, shareprice ( upwards I hope) may be far more volatile as their story is communicated over the coming period, given, in my opinion, that we are at a low base currently.
I would have added more this week but I could only buy a maximum of 1000 from my broker, so I have not bothered.
Good luck to BTR holders.

No matter how good the results,if no one is trading no rise.
Anyone care to speculate on chances of interest being generated here in the future.
I continue to hold and am thinking of putting in a few more grand.

Results confirmed for 8th June:

"Blue Star Mobile Group PLC ('Blue Star'), the AIM listed company which develops and delivers mobile marketing solutions, will announce final results for the year ended 31 March 2007 on Friday 8 June 2007.

Blue Star will hold briefings for analysts and journalists on the morning of the results."

We can assume that results will be in line at worst given no advance warning of problems. I wonder if they're hoping to announce a deal along with the results given the small delay?

Thanks Riv.

BTR haven't really gone anywhere since they listed and I believe they have a strong business which will expand quite quickly now with their American offshoot established.

A 50k buy at 15.5p, 1p above the full offer?! Someone's keen to get in before the results...

OT : will have a look philjeans, but I hate OFEX/PLUS stocks generally.

Golden Balls getting a recall back to the England squad and possible winter loan deal with the toon army might put more mileage into promo's as well.

Yes; I don't think we'll be disappointed.

May hear more about the forthcoming promotion for David Beckham's arrival in US; wonder if they could get a deal for Victoria too?!!

(Rivaldo; O/T have you looked at Europe Steel on PLUS? Results out last Thurs confirmed historic P/E of 4, falling to 3 this year - 5 months of "improved trading" already in the bag. See it all on OFEX thread and PLUS site.)

Results out this week. With 4 separate director buys of shares since last September, plus grants of options, I'm hopeful we'll be seeing decent progress.

Hello GI! As I said in post 528 the results will be out around 30th May.

There wasn't a Notice of Results RNS last year so I wouldn't expect one this year either particularly. Good job too - BTR save £150 by not issuing it :o))

I phoned the company:

- results will be out around the same date as last year. i.e 30th May (there should be a Notice of Results RNS)
- I quipped that if anything was amiss there would have had to have been a trading update. The response was amusing enough to convince me that I was right and that these results will be just fine. I might be wrong though.

If we see a few buys tomorrow we could be on for a decent run up to the results and news.

I'm sure BTR & Motorola will have been working on a few Beckham mobile deals for his move to L.A this summer.
