Not a good day for this release as the general fear factor in markets has ratcheted up pessimism. Cash is the plus point for Blinkx ... It still has time On its its side. But not a great update to be honest. Having said all that would not be surprised to see share price higher in the future once the dust has settled

I agree with you there, jonc. BM has certainly had his work cut out bringing all the entities together. With a bit of luck and a tail wind the mobile side of the business will save blinkx.

There are some 'green shoots' of potential recovery in there lgw. But it is clear that the business was a sprawling shambles of unintegrated acquisitions.

Grim news on 1H financials, in particular cash burn, but as a small consolation the RNS looks rather more informative and straightforward than is normal. They seem to have tried to explain the cash use in 1H as well as giving some guidance on elements of cash use in 2H. They have talked about selling off bits and pieces - but it would be nice to get some detail on this. They have committed to regular quarterly updates. Are they inching their way towards more transparency at last?

Very mixed update. Not great to see a drop in revenues but lots of talk about return to profitability and growth rates for the core business. The bottom line is what matters though.

I wonder if today is the day that the muppets like football and Langster acknowledge they have been wrong and out of order attacking anyone that pointed out the problems at blnx?

I doubt it though - they will just shout louder that blnx is great and BM is doing a fantastic job.
