13/2/2015 10:10 | STT, Oxford's moves have been only 0.1% at a time i.e. 400k shares bought back, on 11th Feb, 21st Jan, 7th Jan and 15th Dec. Euroclear shows SOL went up by 4m in January (month on month average). So if anything it suggests shorters have in aggregate been increasing their positions. Although the data explorers link (which no longer seems to work for me) seemed to be showing SOL trending down last time I could see it. So not sure how much estimation is involved in these SOL numbers. | 1gw

13/2/2015 10:00 | some of the recent share price action would've been down to the shorters like Oxford reducing their positions... It would be interesting to see who was lending out shares to them... | sikhthetech
13/2/2015 09:59 | YK/LC, joining the family of multiple ids...2 for the price of 1...lol | sikhthetech
13/2/2015 09:51 | Shareholder / short positions Shorts - Oxford made a very small move again. 0.59% down to 0.49% on 11th Feb. Now below the threshold. Among the companies increasing shareholdings, Majedie and (to a lesser extent) Blackrock have also been accumulating. Shroder - your question on who was selling. According to Morningstar OFI (Oppenheimer) dropped off the list sometime after 31st October. They were reported as owning 12.9m shares as of 31st October (reported by Morningstar on 30th December) and were off the list (top 20 institutions) on 2nd January. So most if not all of those shares went somewhere in either November or December. Another possible source of shares, if Oppenheimer is not the source, is PIs of course. The blinkx shareholder page shows numbers for HL, Barclays and TD have all dropped (from 6.04% to 5.76% in the case of TD). | 1gw
