Just look at last night's late reported broker to broker O trades. I guess Blnx have just screwed Christmas for a number of people. Great timing - just enough trading days for a bit of fun.

Well in any case Adkarma's revenues for this year should be $20 million up over 100% yoy.

If they can keep that up that means an additional $40 million revenues to Blinkx in 2015 and that is immediately earnings accretive. Also it was paid mostly out of cash.

At 1x revenues that is a great deal,it shows there is a serious future for blinkx.

Remember the Goldman sachs 325p price target earlier this year?

Expect some decent broker comment and upgrades in Q1 2015

Video SSP AdKarma Named 31st Fastest Growing Private Company in US

Digital video advertising firm grew 7,500 percent since 2010, plans offices in Los Angeles and New York

8/21/14

Industry-leading video supply side platform (SSP), AdKarma, was named the No. 31 fastest growing company in the U.S. today by Inc. Magazine. AdKarma was also the second fastest growing company in the advertising and marketing category.

Since its launch in 2010, AdKarma has capitalized on the exploding digital video advertising industry and grown its revenue more than 7,500 percent. The company will continue that growth in 2014 by adding content production to its services for clients, and expanding its reach by opening new offices in New York and Los Angeles.

“We’re pleased that Inc. Magazine has recognized the disruptive force AdKarma plays in online video advertising. This ranking is proof that there’s gigantic revenue potential to companies who are willing to harness market disruption – not run from it,” said Bobby Campbell, CEO and founder of AdKarma. “At AdKarma, we’re helping both traditional and nontraditional publishers tap the vast potential of online video advertising to monetize the exploding popularity of their video content – increasing their revenue potential as advertisers shift their spends.”

A 'coup' you say J777J?

What price would you have put on Adkarma before Blnx 'pounced' then? Had you ever heard of them? Had they had approaches so a value was established?

......or maybe Blnx have plucked the $20m out of thin air and the Adkarma crew can't believe they've got it away at that price.

High fives all around the Adkarma office as they are now rich but at the expense of the Blnx shareholder base.

Just like all the previous acquisitions that never made it to the start line once blnx bought them.

$20 million revenues in 2013 up over 100%

If they keep the trajectory that would add $40 million revenues to Blinkx in 2015.

A coup indeed.

$20m cash & stock, looks very cheap especially given the growth quoted.

Another J777J post that made me laugh:-

'Paying just over 1x revenues for a co growing at 102% a year is a coup.'

Imagine if some muppet had thought that about blnx last year!

That is what start up company's do - look stellar until the bubble is burst because, say, they've been using nefarious means and malware etc
