no but as discussed some time ago Halewood International Limited makes Crabbie's Ginger Beer and was a company I used a s a comparison when looking at margins. Blavod as a company has changed a lot since then and I am not too sure how much of a direct comparison they are. However, if a company wanted to move into the spirit market such as Halewood International. Blavod maybe an interesting opportunity for them.

Also look at Bruichladdich

companies House is your friend when looking at similar private companies in the same sector.

We no doubt hear soon how trade has been over Christmas..... I'm expecting a good report & more importantly good plans for 2014 ............... onwards & upwards for the BES share price

Oh don't worry, I bought at an average of 1.5p. Don't think I would have tempted before!
It was just funny, checking out some stellar graphs over 10 years, and then posting up poor BES- it reads like a car-crash

Try looking at the 5 month chart, that is what I am looking at because I bought at £0.008 !!

The company is looking to be on the starting blocks. Eyes on the ground seem to suggest that stocks that have been on shelves have sold well.

It would be good to know how the Christmas period has gone. I am not sure how quickly this information comes back. I would presume the faster stocks are depleted and reorders made the faster you know the results.

Here is hoping for an update in January on trading.

From looking at the blackwoods gin twitter feed it will hit the shops early this new year....maybe something we will hear about when they update the market...let's hope we see it in tescos and sainsbury with the ginMy local store only has a couple of bottles left ... The shelf was rammed with blackwoods the week before Christmas ..... Hoping sales have been strong and puts us in the black

Interesting website - the whole co feels like it has momentum now - looking fwd to any trading update.

I put these in my annual stockchallenge for 2014. Hoping to do better than 7th with these in it this year :-)
