Ali, take a look at the markets in general. There's no reason except for rubbish markets, plus a little selling affecting BLTG disproportionately given relative illiquidity and a high rating. The same goes for many small and mid-cap stocks where you've been asking the same question :o))

A nice 115k trade there which looks like a buy.Absorbed most of the sells today it seems.

Here's comment from BLTG this week on a cyber-breach of information:

"9 May 2016 News
Kiddicare Reports Data Breach of Personal Information

...Pat Clawson, CEO of the Blancco Technology Group, said: “First of all Kiddicare should be commended for reporting itself to the UK’s Information Commissioner and directly contacting the customers that may have been affected. The firm has acknowledged its mistake, taken responsibility and learned the lessons. This is in stark contrast to the children’s toy manufacturer Vtech, who in the same circumstances chose to put the burden of responsibility on its users.

“However, it is still deeply concerning that real customer data was left vulnerable on a Kiddicare ‘test' website it had been experimenting with over six months ago. If Kiddicare had a responsible data lifecycle plan in place, it would have permanently erased all of this data when the testing was complete. Data erasure is one small but very important piece of the data security puzzle when it comes to preventing a data breach, as many companies are discovering the serious consequences and costs to themselves and their customers.”"

The half -year results announced in March are worth a read if you havent already and worth a re-read if you have :o)

Looks like they will report final results covering only Blancco, with separate results for the discontinued repair business.

Wonder if all the sellers today are those with holdings that were not taken up by the company. I.e placed too high a price.

Here is the reply I got from SCSW to my query about the CFOs share disposal:

Dear....

Thank you for your email.

We weren't aware that the FD was selling almost all his holding in the
tender although they had flagged that they would tender all or part of
their holdings in the tender document.
His shares were acquired as part of a long term management incentive plan
so we assume he has much of his net worth in the shares and so decided to
diversify and presumably will be replenishing the coffers with further
receipt of similar incentive shares in due course.
We're awaiting further changes to broker forecasts following the
significantly reduced number of shares in issue. Nothing has changed,
stickiness of revenue and legislative drivers remain intact.

I hope this helps.

Lets hope we can find out how many £millions it cost to arrange this (currently non-existent) return of cash to shareholders. The Risk currently is that the BoD do not actually have other shareholders as a priority. Guesses? £1m? £2m?

The results to the end of June will of course include the results of the old repair business which will detract from the performance of the software division. So not expecting much. The 2017 results, which will be pure Blancco, however are forecast to show doubling of earnings to 11p on brokers last estimates.

Give the CFO a break - he's been there 4 years. He had c.£1m invested wish you saw that commitment more often - he's allowed to take a gain! Maybe he's getting divorced or buying a house?!
He flagged in the circular he might sell.
If he or the board thought there was something wrong or they were going to miss year end (6 weeks away) numbers they would have had to warn on the year end - especially as sellers. A bit of thought and you could as easily and perhaps more sensibly view the CFO's sale as an all clear?!!

Just to keep things simple I'll agree with Aishah ;-)

Waiting for some clarity before establishing a target re-entry price.

"this is absolutely maddening- the variety of views here does not help"

You should chill out. The variety of views expressed here is exactly fulfilling the purpose of a share forum - different people have different perspectives, which is what makes a market! If you hold this stock in an ISA then I think that you would be better off taking a long term view - prospects are good - rather than reacting short term - current valuation is uncertain - and selling stock now at a loss.
