Would it be more reassuring for you if it was trading at a premium like HICL?

quite a big discount to NAV still and it puts me off buying in a way . But watching closely !

I started buying in tranches when it first fell below £3 all the way down to 170/180 or whatever it fell to. The world has finite resources and increasing energy costs. These are valuable commodity extractors that are are well placed to extract value and contain costs. It has since proved the best holding in my SIPP and produced good income.

Well, better late than never, I have bought in. I think the global economy is not in great shape, that QE has inflated asset prices but not much else, that miners represent one of the few asset classes nowhere near an all time high and that governments have no cards left other than the infrastructure one. I didn't like this when it was 2 quid and falling: let's hope my timing is better now.

Very true racg but with the pound dropping like a stone not a bad place to be in BRWM looking at BRCI
another commodities trust it is sitting at a small premium .

NA value back to 350p that's a decent discount with the share price at 301p.

Anyone know / have any divvy forecasts for next yr? I see they intend to move to Quarterlies, was the 4p the first one ie a full year yield of 16p? TIA

Edit: Just found the dividend section in results from Aug 11, and it would appear that this wasn't a quarterly, but an interim (6m) divvy, so looks like the dividend is more likely to be half that ie 2p/q ie 8p for the FY ? Though they don't actually specify...?

I think that is a but unfair. Commodities turning on a sixpence.
Though annoyed with myself I didn't sell a slug at 3.10. Next time, we do I think I will. YOu in Rio as well Arja?

quite a fall in NTA in last week or so which is a little surprising . It seems to suggest that the management is not up to the job .

it is quite wide but because it is a resource trust I suppose. But makes it hard to trade as discount might get wider and can not just rely on NAV

I wish they made more effort to manage the discount, really is too wide.

strong move yesterday and was likley to pull back today as resource stoks hammered .
Might be a good buy on pullback to about 307 or 308 !
